Along with the on going poll, of which one of those maps will be done, I thought it would be good to kinda just have one place to post map ideas, and new locations.

Also talk about special terrain rules which may or may not end up on future custom maps.

I'll start, I am officially requesting a fulucia map in honor of Shaak Ti, in the Force Unleashed. Now I wonder who's gonna do it :wink:

I personally would like to see a Dxun Jungle map, but have no mandalorian base camp. Just a Dxun jungle with tombs, crashed ships, and weapon caches.

With the Legacy set coming out soon and the possibility of some Young Jedi, maybe a Baanu Rass (Vuuzhan Vong ship on Myrkr that housed the voxyn queen) would be a fun one to have. (Of course this has absolutely nothing to do with the custom voxyn I just made, see Custom figs thread...)
You could make it seem more like a YV map, of which there are none.

After the map pack, one of my slated maps is a vong formed planet, not exactly the same thing , but close.

I'll have to do some research on this ship your talking aobut.

It was in Star by Star, and can be found in numerous places: New Essential Chronology, Wookieepedia, etc.

Either way, a YV customized map would be awesome.

I mentioned this before, but here goes again:
~ A new Tatooine map would be nice. I was thinking rocky canyons and a tusken raider camp (think Battlefront 1), but something that could connect to the Mos Eisley map would be pretty awesome as well.

~ I've always been interested in the idea of having multiple maps that are made to be used together (or individually for smaller games), say three floors in a building. The maps could be smaller in sized, 24x24?, with stairs/elevators/balconies that match up so that the game could move between different levels. Characters with Flight or Force Leap could move up and down between maps via balconies/windows? Probably more than you'd be interested in getting onto the Map Pack 2, but wanted to throw it out. This might be a cool way to handle an Ewok Village

~ Kamino... Tipoca City could be a very challenging map to make. Walkways could make it difficult to balance well. I guess you could make most of the map interior, with some walkway in the middle and around the edges... but some nice pits could be added in!

Here's a few suggestions:

1) The Senate Grand Chamber where Yoda and Palps had their little tussle.

2) Xizor's Skyhook from Shadows of the Empire

3) A Tree city from Kashyyyk (for all the Pushers out there.... :P )

4) The Spice Mines of Kessel (Think nastier version of Rancor Pit)

Spice Minse of Kessell and Kashyyk treetop city are 2 maps that are already officially slated for MP:II, hope that makes you happy!

I've had a few Ideas for Shadows of the Empire locations, but It's been so long since I read the book I would have to go back and really dig in and research.

The Tusken camp is another thing I've thought about, But I was thinking more of a smaller 18x22 inch map more geared towards scenarios, but I am also working on Anchorhead for the second pack.

Keep the ideas coming, and remember the second pack will probably have 8 maps in it, and only 4 are official right now

1 Kessell
2 Kashyyk treetop City
3 Spice Mines of Kessell
4 Anchorhead

Mygeeto is almost official, but were still in the planning stages for that one.

I just played Battlefront( Yeah, I'm late...so what!?)
I was VERY impressed with the Ren Var Battle Zone-
similar to a ruined castle, very Mixed up and my favorite enviroment so far

I think I'd also like to see the mines or administration level Peragus or the Harbinger ship which ended up running into the mining colony which the Exile jumped on. The game (KotoR2) wasn't all that great but it had some good locations.

awwww yes, Rhen Var would be good, I really enjoyed that map but have not played the original BF for a long time.

What if you made the tusken camp as a add-on for either the Anchorhead or Mos Eisley maps (or both! imagine combining the three for a huge play area, tuskens in the middle as a sort of corridor between the two)

I would love to see a Star Forge map, or even a map on the Star Forge Observation Deck (the last area in KotOR). If only because I need it for my KotOR campaign...

What about:

*Ewok Village
*Crystal Caverns
*On SWG there was a Jawa Trading Post

Something I've noticed is that no maps handle any kind of elevation differences. Is this because there is little way to depict it or because it would basically only benefit shooter?

I'd love the outpost from the CW episode "Rookies" that seemed like a perfect location for a skirmish, and consider that's what happened in the episode makes it even more fitting

I believe Geonosis had high ledges in the Ultimate Mission book. They count as the same level for DCI play.

I had been working on that one, but it's on the back burner. Layout is done but artwork has no colour or texture yet.
