Hi. Ladyhothie and I are running 3 scenarios on September 30th. They are 300 point, 1.5 hour scenarios. Since our LGS is only open for 5 hours on Sundays, people will get to play in 2 of the 3, their choice. (accounting for time to explain scenarios, etc.) Depending on the number of players, game will either be 1 on 1 or teams of 2. Players earn up to 5 victory points for each objective they complete, and the winner will get 1st choice in a booster, and so on.
Here are the 3:

Knightfall-Anakin storming the Jedi Temple can be seen here:

New Republic Battle of Dantooine can be seen here:

Here is the Escape from Echo Base scenario:

Warning, these will save as Word Docs on your computer. Due to the formatting of the text boxes this is the best way to post them.

After play testing again, we're changing the NR victory condition that BOTH Skywalkers must live in order to get the victory point.

Hey hothie these look cool. If I lived closer, I would stop in and play. Keep us posted on how these turn out.

Just and idea for you since not everyone with a PC has Word installed. I can create these into a PDF file if you like. Let me know your email and I'll send them to you.

Text from a recent email I sent to Ironlightsaber, as I had asked for his opinions/critiques.

Dajuan (LadyHothie) and I have play tested Knightfall twice. The first time I was Empire and Dajuan was Repubic, and all Jedi had FR1, which made them impossible to hit due to deflect. Republic gained 2 victory points and Empire only 1. I would have had 2, but her reinforcements showed up and
killed Anakin.
Second time play testing was with the worst person at our LGS (who
will be playing Sunday, so I didn't mind giving her some experience
with it) and a noob. Dajuan and I coached them a little bit, but
again, Republic got 2 victory points to Empire's 1.

Yes, Empire has a lot more activations, and with the Clone Commander
they're gonna want to camp at the landing (gaining +3 for not moving),
but they can't stop the Jedi from getting their reinforcements unless
they kill Shaak Ti quickly, and she has Stealth. Both times Shaak Ti
used Force Leap to get to the Landing pad in the 3rd round.
Empire gets 45 points of reinforcements, probably twice, and Republic
gets almost 200 points of reinforcements.

We realized the 2nd time play testing that the Empire's best strategy
will be to storm the middle of the board and try to cut off Shaak Ti
soon. (kinda like the movie, clones need to just go in and get them)
We threw in the Victory condition of the Empire needing to get to the
security post for the sole purpose of trying to keep the Empire from
camping, but neither time that it was played did the Empire even
attempt to get that VP.
Force push is a great ability (and will likely be coming out with FU,
so we wanted to throw it in there now to get people used to thinking
about using it.) It does take care of clones in a hurry if they fail
their saves. And the Jedi have higher hp and Deflect, which evens out
the range issues. There are also 2 ways on that map, the library and
the war room, to get to the other side relatively hidden, or at least
covered.

We play tested Dantooine with me as vong and Daj as NR. We decided
after that to make CE's within 6, cause I was kicking her arse with
boardwide Vong CE's. We also play tested it with me as NR and the
other woman (worst player) as vong. It wasn't even close. I beat her bad. She got maybe 2 slaves, and I had like 10 refugees. We
changed the victory condition that BOTH skywalkers must live to get
the VP, cause I sacrificed Luke to kill a lot of vong. I got all 5 of
my VP's that time, which is why we changed the condition.
Also, the set up of where the refugees start will be made by Dajuan.
In both play tests, the refugees started as close as they could to the
landing pad, which gives the NR a big advantage due to the map and
where the vong start.(the 3 Scouts take care of that issue a little,
but not enough.) So, Daj (being the unbiased judge) will start them
more towards the middle of the buildings to make it a little more
fair.

Um, armies were made for 300 points, and to keep scenarios at 1.5
hours, which works out well, I think. I realize there will be more
activations for one side over the other, but hp kinda offsets that. We
will play them Sunday, and it sounds like there will be 3-4 people who
don't normally play with us playing then, which will be good.

Well, our next scenario is in the making, so we're open for suggestions. It will involve using the RS Missions Bespin map tied (on the side opposite of the landing platform) to Antwon's (Nickname?) Salvage yard map, seen here:

http://www.the-holocron.com/index.php?o ... info&id=28

Essentially, we want a 8-10 player scenario, with each player having 100 points or less, 2-3 activations preferable.

Squad 1: Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter, Han Solo in Carbonite, possible Bespin Guards/stormtroopers to "carry" Han.

Squad 2: Princess Leia (either A&E or FU), Chewbacca w/C3PO.

Squad 3: Luke Skywalker of Dagobah (probable custom stats), R2D2

Squad 4: Darth Vader (probably the new one with lightsaber throw,) Stormies

Squad 5: Lando, Dashing Scoundrel, Lobot, possible bespin guards

Squad 6: IG88, Bounty Hunter, maybe E522 Assassin Droid

Squad 7: 4LOM, Bounty Hunter, Zuckuss

Squad 8: Dengar, Bounty Hunter, Mistryl Shadow Guard

Squad 9: Bossk, Bounty Hunter, Trandoshan Mercenary

We can use multiple Ugnaughts/Bespin Guards/Stormtroopers for filler points/activations.

Each team will have a goal. Boba needs to get han to the Slave 1. Vader needs to confront Luke. Leia/Chewie need to kill Boba and get han to the Imp shuttle. Luke needs to defeat vader and get han to the Imp shuttle. Lando/Lobot need to get han to the imp shuttle. Bounty Hunters need to kill as many Uniques as possible.

Boba and Vader start in the carbon freezing chamber. Luke starts at the Imp shuttle. Leia/Chewie and Lando/Lobot start in the hallway outside of the carbon freezing chamber. The bounty hunters start on the Slave 1 map.

With multiple characters having the same goal, we're thinking there may be a back-stabbing element to it. As in, I kill Boba and capture Han, you kill me so you get Han to the shuttle kind of thing.

That's the rough idea right now. I'll post more as details get clearer.

Running the 3 from the original post today. Should have people there this time, so should be fun.
