Day 1.
Firstly, you need a Shyrack base.
Remove the Shyrack, then make a greensfuff square, this is the 'body' and push that on to the shyrack base.
Separatley roll little bits of greenstuff into 12 or so little snakes, these are the 'Tentacles'
Roll a greenstuff ball about the size of a marble.
Let these set.
Day2
Make a large greenstuff egg, this is the 'head', and press that onto the body, smooth it and round it off.
Day 3
make a 'beak' and add it to the front of the Body, make a socket for the 'marble eye' and add the eye to it.
Mottle the greenstuf to give it a fleshy look.
Add the 'snakes' to the sides of the body under the head.
And thats really it, its just about the paint job how much detail you add to the greenstuff as you are making it.
Use my pics for reference, pm me if you have any questions or even if you want one. You'd have to supply the Shyrack though :P

Its needs to be pointed out that this figure is a huge base, not a large.

Cerous, if it has to be a Huge, then would an ISP Speeder base (rather than a Shyrack base) be the next best thing?

Well, you could always use both a Shyrack base AND a Knobby White Spider base to pull it off. Take the clear stand piece off the Shyrack base and just move it to the other base.

No it has 1 large and a lots of little ones.
On the sublect of the base size, this is the issue.
I made the yammosk to scale.
The size of a Hutt. In all the Literature I've read about them, they arent Massive.
But to keep it within 'V-set' rules  I'd use the Knobby spider base as the yammosk. Its all about keeping it cheap and to hand, so dont be chopping things that are expensive. :o ISP Speeder base :o nonono
War Coordinators are smaller, hutt size, so I'd say the knobby white is World Brain size.
AND

We all have at least 3 knobby whites each ;)

Thanks for the clarification, I really couldn't remember, I just recalled something about a purple vein commanders would have to rub between their eyes and it's been years since I read the vong series. IN any case yours looks amazing.

Yeah they did...but I think it's open to interpretation...plus what he did is pretty amazing. There's really only two pictures out there of a Yammosk...both the same...one with color, one not.

Yeah, and of those two pictures one has two eyes and the other looks like it has only a single central, but on closer inspection, it has the other two eyes in a more muted color tone. So in that respect, it wouldn't be off.

Yammosk were Huge, catered by dozens of slaves and having thousands of tentacles. I can't find anything about Hutt size, and it seems like it would be hard to fit that many slaves around a hutt or have that many tentacles. I had kind of thought they were large myself.

The dhuryam, world brains, were more on the Colossal scale, if the above is the case.

Part of the decision to go with it as a Huge was also because of figure availability. The KWS is just too good of a match to pass up in some ways.

Plus, I always thought that Jabba looked way too small on a Large base. I mean, seriously, put Han Smuggler next to Jabba, and tell me that the scale is accurate....
