Darth Sion:

I recosted him at 56 and I added:

3 to his attack and defense

Lightsaber Deflect

Lightsaber Assault

This makes him a little more workable into squads. His attack and defense are about right for that price range. He has a little more survivability against non-melee via Deflect which was sorely needed, and with lightsaber assault/rage he can be a little more mobile and still be a threat.

He is still limited to 5 force, so it costs for him to do any of his tricks, but if you want to spend more, you can get Sidious Hologram in the squad to make sure he gets a few more force before entering the action.

To compare to a similarly-costed Sith (Darth Malak, DLotS)

Sion Negatives (compared to Malak DLotS):
-20 HP
-2 Attack
No Deadly Attack
No Renewal (Though has access to Sidogram)
No Force Stun
No Commander Effect (Malak's useful CE is part of his cost)

Sion Positives (compared to Malak DLotS):
Follower (Benefits from CEs)
-2 Cost
+ 3 Force
MotF 2
Eternal Hatred
Lightsaber Riposte
Lightsaber Assault
Lightsaber Deflect

Congratulations, you've turned him into a pre-ban GOWK for the Sith: a piece that can't be killed and forces games to go to time.

He is undercosted just a little.

I agree that he's undercosted.

drop MotF 2, and he'd be okay at his current cost.

So how much should I recost him? Jonnyb815 mentioned only being a little undercosted (assuming no sarcism). Is that the concensus? Does that mean putting him in the upper 50s? Or should I just keep him as is and put his cost at 69 like the original Sion?

I think as long as he doesn't have Master of the Force 2, somewhere in the mid-to-high 50's is about right.

slap in at about 52m without MotF 2. Might as well put him back to 69 if you're keeping MotF2
