Name: Unsure, don't want "Trooper"
Cost: 8
HP:20
Def:15
Atk:6
Dmg:10
SA:
Savage
Blackwing Virus(When this character defeats an adjacent enemy by making an attack, replace the enemy with a [Whatever I decide to name it])

So, I don't want them to get any Trooper CE's with Empathy, so the name is an issue.
I gave them guns, because they used them with some efficiency in the book, but made their virus adjacent, similar to, but not the same as Raks. Thoughts?

Maybe call it 'Blackwing Drone'?

Or 'Blackwing Soldier'

I would possibly make Blackwing Virus more like a combo of Rak Disease and Poisoned Blade. Something to give a extra boost of damage or something while adjacent. They were much more viscious up close in the book from what I gathered.

Would be cool though. You could do a whole set of pieces. Blackwing Wookiee. :P

Well, since Rak Disease already has a bonus to damage, I decided against it. Perhaps Close Quarters fighting would work.

I could call it Blackwing Infectee.

How about:

Blackwing Carrier

SAs:
Quorem Sensing: +1 Attack for each character with "Blackwing" in their name. This effect is cumulative (they did get better the more in the army swarm)
Relentless (Should be on something like this).

Just suggestions

Yeah, I considered Swarm, but your ability probably would work better, as it was more of an overall amount that helped them.

Well, it would work as it was in the book and most of the time, when in doubt, use what was mentioned in the book.

Swarm would be involving adjacency and they were using blasters.

Gang would be ok but it would be within 6.

The main thing is that it isn't too powerful so that anyone defeated (we know that wasn't really the case as there were 3 that were mostly immune from the initial wave). So that "Blackwing Plague" would only involve adjacent defeats but still dangerous from a distance.

I like the idea of Relentless, but I think Savage works better in this case. You could use Limited Field of Fire though, as the AT-AT has. But, then again, Medium based characters really only don't have any facing direction, so nevermind.

Too bad "Relentless" is less impressive than it sounds.

I like the use of gang with savage or maybe an ability like gang but its as long as they have line of sight or something like that. Maybe even a disease effect like when this character makes an adjacent attack on a natural 20 that character is defeated. Could be too powerful but maybe that could help with that fact that as long as they bit someone the disease started taking over.

Btw- Loved the book and I couldn't put it down
