Here is my take on the Coral Skippers. I wanted to have a few of these just in case I needed them for my RPG. ;) ;)

I am trying to find a decent card template and will cost stats for these once I have the card completed.

Cool, I like the overall idea. I see the Monsterpocalypse background with those pieces though. ;)

Have you not seen some of the various artwork or comic stuff for the coralskippers? They actually look quite a bit different than that. I like this look too, was just curious if perhaps you hadn't seen the 'official' renditions of them.

What I've seen is this, which isn't too far from the custom....You are right in the MA design. It's a simple Vanguard with the top portion turned into the nose of the ship and remounted on a better base.

I'm sure there are several models though, just a shame we can't get some more starships every once in while....

Oh, interesting. I don't think I'd seen that photo before. Wookieepedia says it's from the Starships of the Galaxy book, eh? Will have to look that up.

The one I had been remembering was more like this other pic that's on the wookieepedia page for coral skippers:
