thats actually quite good. Very simplistic, but very good. I might bump his force to 4 or 5, and maybe give him another ability, like Overwhelming Force.

I thought about that, but Darth Maul has never been given more than Three force points that I can recall (Perhaps maul on Speeder, but I never played that piece) CotS, and the original both had three, and all I am going for here is an updated of the Darth Maul from his duel with Quigon and Obi-wan. I really feel that this is appropriate, as for another power, I thought that Rage was all he needed. Certainly his other powers are re-rolling.

yes, but CotF was the most recent release of him, and the game has changed a ton since then. Renewal is almost a standard, unless they have some killer abilities or some sort of draining power (Kreia is a prime example).

I do not believe that force Renewal is almost standard for pieces under 50 points. I mean look at the newest Darth Vader, or heck the new YODA on Kybuck. Kyle Katarn, Mara Jade, Jedi. I mean yes it is more common, but the Sith/Jedi who are more weapon focused than force focused tend to not gain that renewal. Darth Maul was a good fighter, but as far as a student of the force, I don't think we can think of him that way. From what I can see, for him the force was a means to an ends. A way for him to be what he was.

pretty cool, I would like to see one that could stand up to the bigger beats though.

you have a good point, but I still think 3 force for a 44 pt. piece is very underwhelming in today's game.

And perhaps it is, but I was thinking that he has Parry (essentially block every time he is hit), and he also has Twin attack (Essentially giving lightsaber assault every time he wants to attack as well as the occasional quad) I gave him such a huge bonus to things that are not the force that I didn't want him to have too much one one piece.

The one thing i am surprised to not see on a maul yet is stealth...he was suposed to be a sith assasin. Honestly cloaked would be even better. But overall i think thats great stats for maul.

Oh...he always seems to have deadly attack : )

I rather like the Rolling Cleave from the original Maul and this Maul has a lower defense.
