It's been a while since I last updated this thread. I have several customs in the works that I am hoping to finish off as soon as I get done painting the Republic Star Destroyer model I put together. I'll post some pictures of the Star Destroyer once it is done too.
This custom I actually have had done for a few weeks but I wanted to wait until my Saga Group saw it before posting it on the internet. Word gets around so it should be no surprise now for my other group. Anyways, here is the custom - a Talon I Combat Cloud Car
With some Ties for scale....

The custom was made from a Micro Machine Twin Cloud Car. The pods are separated and sanded down. I made the wings from Plasticard, carved a groove for them along the sides of the car and then it is a simple repaint. I used a red ink wash at the end to help give the vehicle a glossy shine. I considered mounting the ship on a normal Star Wars Starship stand, but I am not ready yet to cut any of those up just yet so I mounted it on the Micro Machine stand.
As soon as I find a decent card template, I will customize a car for the Talon.
