Fiver and I went to the LGS Saturday to pick up a box of LotF and pulled a Lumiya. Both of us were disappointed with the mini, so we decided that we would both make a new one. So here is my version of The Dark Lady of the Sith. She is made from the Dark Side Enforcer and no other minis were harmed in the making of Lumiya. Let me know what you think.

Thank you all for your kind words! It is not only appreciated but encouraging as I have not been moding very long. I myself see many flaws in her. I think her head looks a off (small) at certain angles. I think I squished it a little before the green stuff was all the way set up as I worked on her. I know for a fact my painting needs work. Luckily for me she is mostly in black and silver, so on this mini it isn't so easy to tell that I suck at painting.

Thanks again everyone,
Tiffany~

Fool

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Been busy lately. I take it you want me to make you a Lumiiya? If so, Yes I will make you one no problem. As far as the "fee" I do not want another Lumiiya. I don't like the one I have. Dark Side Enforcers are always handy though. I use them for almost all of my female mods. I have one left I think, so I would prefer to make her and send her to you first. That way satisfaction is guaranteed. Let me know and I will get started.

Tiff~

Here is Fool’s Lumiya. She’s made the same as mine, from a Dark Side Enforcer, but this one has a hand off a Sith Trooper Commander. I put a belt on this one and took some extra care with it but besides that they are basically the same.

I love both miniatures you posted of Lumiya! And I have to ask - what did you use to make the whip? It is awesome!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone.

@Lackey – I used plastic packaging from a universal remote control someone gave me, it’s a medium weight semi-flexible plastic. Everything comes in it these days; it’s not hard to get a hold of. I just cut out a lightning looking shape with those tiny scissors that come in nail and sewing kits, heated it with a candle so it was pliable, then bent and twisted it, when done paint with a clear coat. It is not hard to do, seriously. This was the second one I’ve done and it took me less then an hour all together. Just one note of caution though when heating with the candle slowly lower the plastic down over the flame, it doesn’t take much heat to get it to bend and will do so instantly. Too much heat and it will burn. Practice on a scrap piece and you’ll see what I mean. Doing large sections is difficult. The nice thing is it cools and hardens to the shape just as fast, so you don’t have to sit there and hold it forever. I find doing about a quarter inch at time is the most manageable. It might seem like it will take a lot of time but it really doesn’t. Seriously, super easy and I think looks far better then the alternatives.
