Darth Syron, Dark Lord

One of my favorite customs, Syron needed LOTS of greenstuff and repositioning. Learned how to bend plastic with the lightning.

Darth Charn, Sith Apprentice

Experimenting with greenstuff lightsabers, didnt work.

Another one of my favorites, Faron is a stormtrooper commander stationed on Ord Ibanna with his Taser Troopers.

A for fun custom, experimented with greenstuff heads, partly successful.

Canderous Ordo, Mandalore

Very pleased with how my Mandalore turned out, only problem is that he is almost indistinguishable from the other Mandos.

A'den, Mandalorian Warrior

Being Ordo's right hand man, I wanted A'den to have a very dynamic pose, I think I did moderately well for using a soldier.

A fanon swoop rider. This guy was made from the remains of the swoop I tore apart for another custom.

An anti infantry turret. Can you guess what I used for it? (including the base and laser)

Storm Commando Flinch

This is the first time I have showed anyone outside my family this custom, and yes, he is climbing up a wall. The custom should be finished within 2 weeks.

Saber Squad

Draven

Draven is the ironfisted leader of Saber Squad. He expects the best, and only the best performance from his squadmates.

Fox

Fox is the teams heavy weapons expert. His weapon of choice is the DC-17's Anti armor attachment. Fox is a serious fighter and has a quick wit.

Torrent

Torrent is the teams expert sniper. He uses an experimental DC-15x sniper rifle, the weapon that later became the standard issue sniper for the Galactic Empire.

Stix

Stix is the teams medic and tech expert. He received his nickname because he always carried extra bacta sticks which sometimes saved his squadmates lives. Stix uses the standard funciton of the DC-17 most often, providing cover fire for his squadmates.

how do you make figs like that, i mean id like to make a fig that would love to see.

depends on which one you are talking about. for some, it was jsut repositioning and paint. others required greenstuff. It took me a couple experieces to learn how to handle greenstuff correctly, so dont be discouraged if it doesnt come out the way you wanted it to. Darth Syron was the custom i always wanted to make, but i made quite a few other customs before him so I could get a feel for my tools, you might want to do the same, or you could skip them, its up to you

the gray part of the turret base is a lego piece, and the laser looks like a green saber from one of the hasbro toys. am I close?

you nailed it! ya, the base is a LEGO piece, and the laser is from a Jedi action figure

The updates look good too. I actually need a little advice on customizing minis because I'm making my first custom soon, but I'm gonna start slow and not work around cutting them too much or anything, being I have no money and very few minis to add. I want to use Plo Koon (My favorite character) even though he's expensive. I'm not going to use him in a game though, so I figured; Why not use him for an awesome custom and make me appreciate him more? So, now that my long introduction is finally over, got any advice? I'm making him use force lightning against a few opponents. Any advice would be well appreciated

hmm, lightning. you can either use it the way i did (from action figures, using ironlightsaber's hot water method to reshape it), ive seen people use hot glue colored with blue sharpies, or you could even try sculpting greenstuff around a wire base and painting it with a light blue coat and then a clear darker blue coat

Well, aparently one of my friends know a place where you can buy that kinda lightning for SWM. That isn't really the problem. One of the problems is that bending the minis with hot water and then putting them in ice water for like 10 minutes isn't really working out for me. What's the best way to reposition?

are you trying to bend the entire mini or just the lightning? If you trying the entire mini, it might not work so well, you might as well just cut and paste. Hot water is for smaller pieces

Oh alright. I was trying to bend the entire mini. The battle droids are pretty good about staying in place but that's because they're really skinny minis. Alright, thank you. Now I'm gonna go out and buy some good glue =]
