I have never seen an AT-AT custom and I got tired of waiting...

Here is a mockup of what I am going to do to one of the legs.
I will be adding a red light to the eye and some fiberoptics to the big guns so they blink randomly.

Anyone who has seen my X-1 Viper with the color changing eyes know what Im talking about.

How easy was the AT-AT to take apart (question from the person who owns five).

Nice custom, you could probably use the parts for cover for a massive Hoth Battle. You know, add some realism to those essentially blank maps.

I like the Snowspeeder getting crushed.

However, I think the lights will really make it nice. That is a very good idea.

Here is a picture with the eye hallowed out and a small LED put inside.
The Real LED will be much brighter and I still need to paint the inside of the head black so the light does not glow threw the plastic.

Here is the de-construction and re-construction of the front leg.
Taking the time to cut the round joints perfectly takes a long time!

Re-enforceing the joints with pieces of clothers hangers

And making sure the final fit is right before glueing it together permanatly.

Wow, it's nice of you to show the steps instead of just showing the final product.

Very inventive.

The main parts were easy to take apart but the head is glued together really good so you half to take your time.
Splitting the glue on the legs was hard in some spots and easy in others.

The hardest thing in seperating glued parts is if you twist the grey plastic any it will show white stress marks. So take your time if you try this.

Here is a picture of the AT-AT getting ready to be wired for lights, batteries, electronics, and an on/off switch.

P.S. That white strip with the wires in the back is what the inside of a Force FX lightsaber looks like. I said the eye was going to be bright! LOL

I can't think of a good name for this picture.

She's got legs, she knows how to use them.

Or

Time to go to the glue factory Mr. Ed.
