Hello and welcome to my customs thread. After seeing a lot of great work done by others, i thought i'd share mine with you guys as well. I'll be posting pictures of whatever i make here, so check back once in a while if you like what you see. I'm fairly new to the world of customizing. It all started when Destiny of the Force was released, and i thought it might be cool to have an actual miniature representing the various characters in the set instead of using proxies. I started doing some research, but was a little hesitant to get started at first. The fear of making customs that really sucked was the main thing that held me back, but i finally mustered enough courage to get started and i'm really glad i did so. True, the first couple of minis i made was not that great, but i quickly got the hang of it i think. Mainly because of a lot of helpful forum members and their great advice, inspiration from all the other amazing customs on the forums, and also a lot of trial and error. I hope you'll enjoy this as much as i enjoy seeing other peoples work. And if you recognize some of the stuff and think "hey, that looks suspicously similar to mine", i hope you'll take that as a compliment -Biggsy

Those are ridiculously good for your first customs. It is the fear of making crap customs that scare people from doing it, but then they turn out epic.

Thanks for the kind words guys, i'm glad you like them. I'm more than happy with the way they turned out, as i was really expecting the first many customs i made to suck. As Wannabe Mexican points out, that's one of the main concerns before getting started. I had been planning to make customs ever since DotF came out, so about time i actually got started on them. Really great work! Tacticle Officer, Atris, Mando Bounty Hunter (is that gun from Mr Freeze?), and Pellaeon all stand out. I like your Mando sniper as well!

The Mandalorian BH is also one of my favorites. I think it turned out really good. And yes that's Mr. Freeze's gun allright, good call i thought it would be perfect for a flamethrower. Tactical Officer is losely based on a picture of General Garza (i think she's from the Old Republic game maybe?) that i stumbled upon when i was googling for some inspiration. I just updated the pictures to include the names of the minis, added a better picture of Sora Bulq, and posted pictures of these characters: Exar Kun, Dark Force Spirit (DotF) Admiral Saul Karath (RaR) Republic Commando Darman (RaR) Republic Commando Niner (RaR)

No kidding, if I could roll out customs like these and had the time I would be selling them lol. They are great, it is surprising just how awesome a little creativity and a good paint job looks. Very jealous, I wish I had the time and space to customise, maybe one day.

Well at the moment i'm having enough trouble trying to catch up with DOTF and RAR. I was kind of late to the party, so i'm hopelessly behind schedule. But maybe, if people were interested, i'd make a few commissions in the future. I'm glad you like them! I really like all the work I see here, but I think its the Admiral Saul Karath that stands out the most for me. I wouldn't say he had a huge roll in the KOTOR game, but in the KOTOR comics he was really just a jerk, and I think you hit it real good for a depiction of him. And I think all the Mandalorians are fantastic as well, certainly a fun bunch to paint up I bet heh!
