Alright so it's been a while since I've last made a custom...but seeing all these awesome customs inspired me to make some more! So, today I created Kyp Durron, Sith Apprentice. This is actually the first full-on repaint I've done of a character, plus a slight mod. I seriously took my time on this one...all my other repaints i've pretty much rushed. I was totally inspired by (sorry i forgot your name) on Bloomilk where he posted this awesome painted Warhammer fig...anyways...My picture inspiration came from Wookieepedia, under Kyp Durron's profile. I used the picture of him in the Sun Crusher (there's a picture of Han Solo i believe in the background). It appeared he had on a blackish-blue cloak with a light gray belt...so, I tried my best to paint him accurately. Here's the pics! Here's the stats I've made for him: Kyp Durron, Sith Apprentice ------------- Cost: 27 Hit Points: 70 Defense: 17 Attack: +12 Damage: 20 Special Abilities Unique, Melee Attack Twin Attack Impulsive Savagery Synergy (+4 Attack and +4 Damage when an ally name containing Exar Kun is within 6 squares) Force Powers Force 4 Force Lightning 2 Lightsaber Assault Sith Rage Pretty much he really benefits from either Exars in their own ways. I think you can connect the dots together. He's deadly if used correctly, not so much if you don't. Lemme know what you guys think (both for the pic and stats). Also, if anyone is willing to make an actual stat card and/or sketch of him, please PM me or post on this thread! Thanks! |

Ive heard bad things about it--in general you need multiple coats of testors paint to completely over the shade you were painting over. Thats about the only complaint i have. Enamel also seems to rub off after a while if you keep touching that figure. |

I absolutely LOVE the mod and paint job! As for the custom stats, I think he's great too. Do you realize that you can pair him with Exar Kun, DFS? It's much closer from a canon/flavor perspective. It removes the benefit from the other Exar's Savage CEs, but it's also a whole lot cheaper. And for the Synergy SA I think you mean +4 Attack and +4 Defense. Nicely done! |

And yea; i was totally thinking of Exar DFS; which is why i put 'name containing Exar Kun'; sohe could synergize with either Exar. Each benifit him pretty well. The COTF Exar would really boost him once he becomes a savage; and the DFS would grant him renewal; mettle; and some extra FPs in case he runs out. |

Kyp wouldn't get Mettle. He'd get Sith Rage, since Exar is a Dark Force Spirit, not Force Spirit. |
