Great customs, especially the OR tech specialist. What is he made from. Nice use of the heroclix pieces. Are the sizes fairly compatible? Also, that is the Emperor Joker from the Justice League set for who ever asked about the OR Senator.

The sizes are fine on the Heroclix I used. The YVH is nearly as tall as Vader LotF and the D&D goblin "Noghri" are smaller than the SW Noghri, but neither looks out of place. The OR Tech is made from a Mon Cal Merc, Varactyl Wrangler and OR Captain with some plastic scraps for his case and smg.

@sthlrd2

I've seen your Jawa; he's a little beast. I do make minis for other players. Just message me and we can work something out. :)

Yes, good use of the Heroclix mini's; many can be practically used with little/no repaint job .This also reminds me that my Gunslinger supplies are running low.; they're the cheapest/best Mando head and the Deathwatch Raider the Best Mado bodies.

You do nice work; I've made many a mini and your painting schemes are very good; paintings always been my weaker area (the other is picture taking) but I just blame the eyes on that. Did you suggest the Zann Underboss ober on Bloo? I did a Tyber Zann two years ago but my pic is awful; it started as an Eladrin Pyromancer ... yes, my camerawork/camera are the reason I almost never post my custom mini pics .... some day .....

Image

There are other good sources of mini's besides the Heroclix, SWM's & D&D's ...

Mage Knight has many useable mini's

Heroscape has a handful of good mini's

Just wish my camera was better. You've given me some good ideas for mini's ... next vacation ....

I had Lily_Wan do some of the customs as part of a trade.

OR Senator; Jawa Chief; CIO; Sora Bulq; Tycho.

The pictures of the customs are spectaular; however, the actual physical pieces are even better than the pictures, as you can fully appreciate the level of detail. The pieces are better than anything WotC produced. Thanks Lily. If you need some fodder, I have a bit to trade.

Thank you. It's good to read such high praise from someone who physically has some of the minis I've done. I've two more jobs and then I plan to dive into RaR for myself.

Not sure how out of line this might be, but maybe we could have lily design minis for future v-sets and provide info on steps and materials used to those whom would want it. :D Very impressive btw, mega props.

When I grow up, I want to be as good as Lily Wan. I just have to keep taking my Flintstone vitamins like a little Hulkster.

So I was thinking about painting my extra Anakin Force Spirit black but someone told me it wouldn't be transparent anymore. Is there a way to do it so it would retain the "glowing" look?
