I just finished the Bane books and was thinking about a Rule of Two squad consisting of a Sith Master and Apprentice backed up by fringe for the remaining points. Anybody have advice on which Sith work well as a pair?

Caedus and Revan at 200 are great together. One of my favorite 200 pointers though is

--The Rule of 2--
88 Darth Revan
82 Darth Bane
30 Ugnaught Demolitionist x10
(200pts. 12 activations)

12 square LA range on Bane is very fun.

That one would be tempting if I had 10 Ugs to use for it. I had looked at both Bane and Revan for half of my pairing. I really want to try out at least one of the new LOTF Sith though so I might consider Revan/Caedus. Only reason I haven't pulled out all the stat cards to compare everybody myself is I don't need the 200 point Sith Squad until 2 weeks after I need the 150 point squad I was trying to work on when i got the Sith idea. So far that one is only my brand new Felcor and a force battery.

What about Caedus and Krayt?

Caedus can Flow-Walk in, attack once and then triple for up to 110 damage in essentially one activation, that plus Krayts survivability and damage output make for a very potent squad. They're a little expensive for 150, but you could do it if you wanted to.

I was thinking about Kryat/Lumiya in 150 if my Felcor idea doesn't work out.

The revan build gives more to Caedus with his CE. 6 square range for 120 damage and a 12 square range for 100 damage. Not to mention the initiative control and the +4 attack to any scrubs you take along.

I ran them on wed at my LGS. Lumiya is a nasty piece and Kryat even gives her an extra attack.

Her evade makes her a little harder to kill, and Kryat is hard to kill thanks to his crabs.

That's what I was thinking. Plus if I use them for a 150 point squad I can still try 2 of the higher point Sith for the 200 point game.

I did a 200 with Revan and Lumiya and I liked that synergy. Revan can get her into position at the begining of the round so that she can MR double, or if she is close to blowing up she can be put where she can do the most damage.

Bane/Revan would be insane, but in a competitive game I could never bring myself to playing 2 pieces that cost over 80% of the squad. Esp with them being Melee. What if you run into BF BH and get crit-ed on right off the bat??? Or if they have decent shooters they will whittle you down while you cross the board. (which may only take two turns)

I think Lumiya is one of the best pieces the sith have going right now. She is cheap compared to the other sith beat sticks, and she is very resiliant.....untill you want her to die that is!!!!

I'm wary of using Bane though because he's all offense and no defense. A while back I ran across a 100 point squad of Bane/Lando DS. It was in the midst of FU heavy force user squads showing up all over the place so I was playing the JH versions of Aurra and Jango. Game started. He moved both pieces up. I moved both of mine. Next round he moves both closer. I moved Aurra up and twinned Bane for 40. Jango doubled from behind her for 60. Round ends, I win iniative. Jango doubles for 60. Aurra twins for 40. Bane is dead. He didn't even get close enough for a Lightsaber Throw.
