If I know I'm up against JWM I would use Jango BH in a Jedi Hunter combo. Jango/Bane or Jango/Aurra Sing. If you play Republic you could also include R2 Astro to give Jango double with movement.Tactics - keep your distance

Okay, so to make it short and sweet. I want to know everyone's opinions on the best type of squad to use to fully shut down a JWM Swarm Squad. I have many ideas, but want to hear from all of you, as well! |

What point level? B&B with Vader JH works pretty much in just about all of the point formats. If you know 100% for certain that you will only face JWMs, then yeah, a Vong swarm is your best bet. Warmaster Lah can chew through 2 or 3 of them by himself before dying. At 150 points, San Hill (Boba BH and Aurra JH) work pretty decently. You can expand that to 200 points by adding in Jango BH for more Jedi hate. Oh, and Opportunist Troopers with Piett, Ozzel, and Thrawn works wonderfully as well. Evo's shooting at +14 for 40 damage, from under Thrawn's bubble. Yeah, that kills 'em quick too. |

Thanks, Aaron. Many great ideas. I'm not worried about facing them, because so many times certain people have used nothing else, pretty much, just because they know they can win with them most of the time. I just want to make sure next time I see them, I will have two squads made. One for the tourney, one in case they play JWM's. Some people just need to be taught a lesson! lol |

Thrawn with heavy damage hitting shooters (such as Boba Merc, Jango BH, Storm Commando's ETC) No force deflects means they will fall hard and fast. |

Shaak Ti JM does pretty well. Also I think Force Push will do well, Even Loda helps a lot against them. The newer Melee pieces have been really aggressively priced to push those JWM's out of use, mainly due to massive complaints (which are still valid) that a non-unique piece is better than most of the Old Republic's Jedi Masters. |
