Don't have a ton of time, but wanted to toss this out real quick.

Last night at ACME, we held our Mos Eisley Meltdown event. It was an absolute blast. I really wish we had had more time to play more games, but mutliplayer matches always take a while. :P

We decided to set up the maps with all 4 in one large map. Then we took 4 players, and everyone started in their own corners, and we had a 4-way free-for-all. We actually had 7 players last night, so 3 guys ended up playing on the 2nd set of maps.

I've laid out the images below to show how we set everything up.

The purple zones were the set-up zones for each player. The green areas were Victory Zones, each one worth 10 points, similar to gambit. However, we added the stipulation that if the area was contested (pieces from 2 or more teams in the same zone), then nobody got the 10 points.

For the 4 player game that I was a part of, I managed to be the last man standing. Of course, it certainly helped that my squad nearly doubled in size by the end of the game. We played 250 point squads of ALL Fringe. I was running:

Hondo Ohnaka
Xizor
Lando HOT
Jolee Bindo
TBSV x2
Lobot CLO
Czerka x2
Weequay Pirate x3
R7
R4
Mouse x3
Ugo x2

I managed to snag my Fringe Reserves on the first round, and racked up some quick points thanks to dropping Dash on the table and taking out TheMadman's Desert Skiff right off the bat. Madman and I mostly duked it out as we started on the right two maps, while Lackey and Matt Belmont started on the left side. We did fight lengthwise across the maps some, but most of the action went between the pairs vertically. Lackey and Matt tore each other up decently, such that by the time I finished off Madman's squad, the other two had picked each other apart enough that it was easy clean-up from there. I managed to get my Fringe Reserves 5 times in the game, plus I rolled an 11 one other time that had to be re-rolled due to a tie. I brought in a Rodian BSV on the 2nd Reserves, which means I got two sets of 50 points, and then three sets of 70. However, I only brought in Jarael on the 2nd set of 70, and didn't bring in anything for the last set. At that point I still had close to the full 250 points, even though I'd lost several pieces.

Overall, it was absolute blast. That single game took nearly 6 hours, but it was definitely fun. I would love to try something similar again, though we may try to tweak the rules a bit so it take shorter amount of time.

Hopefully some of the other guys will chime in with their reports as well. :)

OK, I know Madman took a bunch of photos that night while we were playing. Anybody else have anything to add to the report?

I have a couple photos from our event that I've downloaded off my phone. I will post them as soon as I am able. The event was extremely fun and I am looking forward to scheduling another one of these in the near future!
