As I said, I was just trying to find a fix that would still leave most wording in place, and simply change the position on the cards. I think it would even be more in flavor with the game, because I really don't think any lightsaber style could be studied to the point where you would have it on a stat card, or Mastered without relying on the Force. I thought it had merit as a game flavor and the side effect was that we would have added a bunch of direct counters to lightsaber styles. But the more I think about it the less sense it makes mechanically. I was posing it as something that I didn't think had been tossed around yet.

Well the abilities as they are are coin flips basically. Sometimes they will work and sometimes they will not. I think they add some nace flavor to the jedi, it's a nice boost to the melee force users. And while not all of them have it, some of them do and that's a nicity. It's like force reneweal, not ever Jedi needs it, or should have it. Flobi is a great example of one that doesn't and didn't need it.
