I didn't see this posted - but as always I want as many as possible to know about it. Though by now we all pretty much know it's a given. Usually it costs about $30 and you get 2 unopened boosters of the new set. Then you open them and build a team with what you have (faction rules thrown out). Stay tuned for the specific point level (last set was 120). Keep in mind I am not the organizer, but a happy supporter. See you all there! (From their forums): CHICAGOLAND GAMES Midnight Release SWM Jedi Academy! Event Date: June 30 (evening of 29th), 2009 This event is late Monday night/Early Tuesday morning Event Details: Once again we will be having our insane Midnight Release Sealed Booster Event to celebrate the release of Jedi Academy. This event begins at Midnight on June 29/30. 5550 N. Broadway St. Chicago IL 60640 (773)728.3656 We our conveniently located in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago, and easily accessible through public transportation or driving. By CTA Train We are less than a block from the Bryn Mawr Red Line stop. After you exit the “L” walk west and cross Broadway. We are between Alchemy Arts and Pure Peace Spa. By CTA Bus You have several bus routes to chose from. The 36 Broadway is the most direct, simply get off at Bryn Mawr and walk west a couple of yards. If you are traveling from downtown take the 147 Michigan Express and exit at Bryn Mawr. Walk 2 blocks west. By Car We are easily accessible via Lake Shore Drive. Take the Bryn Mawr exit and drive west appoximately 2 blocks. Street parking is available near the store. Meter parking is along Broadway and Bryn Mawr plus a number of other local streets. As always be prepared to game! |

Eww, 120pts.... I think I am gonna pass. I am not particularly interested in pulling Luke and not being able to play him. I also think it's a mistake when the average cost of figures in this set is so high. I'll think about it, but odds are I am gonna pass this time. |
