Sounds like GOWK showed up in full force for the CA regional. According to the thread over at Wizos (in the Cantina), there were 7 GOWK squads out of 22 total. I believe a Boba Fett, BH squad took first. He seems to be popping up quite frequently.

Yes that seems to follow a normal trend at a big tourney. Where you might not see Boba BH for months people bring him out at big tourneys. Thus the need to remember how important a Bodyguard is in a squad.

Last year's Gencon is the perfect example. Bill chose to put the Human BG into his Speedy Cannon squad over everyone else top choice: Dodonna. He could play his games without any fear of the Big D.... Others could not say the same.

A BG seems pretty essential in the big tournament scene. Especially against those Bothan/Padme builds.

thats why im amazed we havent any GOWK BOBA BH squads in the Regional Events. CA might of had one but we have not see the results of that one yet.

I claim the moral victory as the only person to beat him . It was definitely good to see him again, as he rarely ever plays anymore. Congrats to him, and thanks to the 18 players who showed up.

Cool to hear that the Push squad won. Also nice to see Yoda was part of it. I know Boris was badmouthing Yoda a few weeks ago over at Wizos . Something about Yoda not being worth his cost.

I ran a similar team a few weeks ago, but I ran Aura Sing(CS) instead of Luke, HPU & - a few piggies.
