EDIT IE can be in squads just mark your figures with the name and the stats if there is space. just so your opponent knows who that figure really is.

so there will be a DCI tournament this saturday. The start time will be 7:30 Central.
do you want IE? we would just mark the figures like we have done in the past.
PM ME your squads, map, and DCI number if your new.
I will be running the event since dean will be busy.
reflect just works on vader and gowk is just melee till we get an errata.
list
1.empirejeff
2.Tint
3.mtmagus
4.jonnyb815(only if we have odd numbers)
5.Azrakel
6.dvader831
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.
12.

Jonny keep it sanctioned. I'm probably playing. Plus since I don't follow the boards at all, what does "gowk" mean?

Vader's new Reflect doesn't apply to past minis with Reflect, however, Vader's Reflect does work like it says on the card. Soresu will be changed to do what the card says, but not until the next errata comes out (months, in other words).

I should be able to participate. I'd like to use IE, and am fine with any point value.

I'll be there. And yes, I am definitely in favor of using IE pieces; as long as it's clear which piece you're using, I can't see it being a problem.

Is 4-5 people enough to play a DCI tourney?

The DCI requirement is at least 4 players, so we should be good.

However, the Vassal server has been going down a bit more often recently, so that might cause a problem. I guess we'll have to see how it goes tonight. I'd like to suggest to everyone that, if Vassal boots us off, then we keep trying to re-connect for at least 10 minutes or so.

I'm looking forward to it! My first time in a tournament using the new pieces. :saber:

I have had no problems with Vassal in days.

Too bad the only time you sign into Skype is when you're on Vassal. It has other uses my friend! lol

No Skype for me, unfortunately. But I'm a fast typer ;)

Also, if Vassal goes down, we can always meet up in the SWMGamers Chat and do a direct connect to each other. Yodarulz and I tried that the other day and we were completely lag-free despite the normal Vassal server constantly crashing.

Here's something I did earlier that will speed every single game along! I took the map I will be using, put all my pieces on it, along with the gambit zone and other markers, marked my pieces if they are IE, put Att/Def on them, and saved it. If I win map roll, and want my map, I'll just open the file, and that is much time saved!
