Jared's Squad:
Luke's Snowspeeder; Han Scoundrel; 2x Ugo Tech, Obi Ghost, Princess Leia, R2-D2, and a couple ugos.
Record: 2-1 Placement: 5th

beyond this I really don't want to go any farther into squad descriptions, there was a Grievous and 2 NR Kyle and Mara squad out there that I thought were well constructed. I saw a Yobuck Swap squad that I thought was done well, and there was an Uggernaught squad that was Interesting to say the least.

My first match was against Anthony Stoeker on Death Star. Anthony is improving his play recently, but he had a pretty bad night. <not only did I beat him, but I believe someone pushed a full hp VAders Apprentice unleashed of his into a Pit>
He was playing only 5 pieces:
Storm Commando, Vader's Apprentice Unleashed; Vader Scourge; Nyna Calixte; Admiral Ozzel.

If you look up at my squad you will see that I had him out-activated by 3. Meaning that Sidious, Sing, and Tyranus could all go when there was no Danger. For the 2 Rounds of Engagement, Sidious hung back and did nothing, while Dooku made sure that Vader's apprentice didn't Activate. Then sidious finished him off with a lightning of his own. <Shock Therapy> VAder Scourge proved to be no match for Aurra sing Jedi Hunter, because he lacked the HP. She survived his assault with 10 HP and dealt him the killing blow. That sealed it.

Round 2 I had to play against Micheal Garrison.
Micheal was playing Wedge, Kyle Katarn <not JB>, Mara Jade, Jedi. T3 M4 and Jariah Syn. On Jedi Temple. In this one we played with one open door with a camassi in the doorway, and Aurra behind it. This kept Mara Jade at shooting distance, where Aurra at the advantage. Jariah got the Shock therapy this go round, though T3 put out 80 points of damage against my squad before Sidious hit him with a little shock therapy of his own.

Round 3 was against Matt McChristian. In this game it was a lot of the same Story, I split the Shock therapy between Cade and Jariah, and with a blaster barrage really put some hurt out.

All in all, throughout the night I never lost Sidious, Dooku, San, Aurra or my Camassi in any game. I don't know if my squad was top tier, but it was fun and a little different. I really had a lot of fun.

Ugg Carl, how am I supposed to maintain my top spot in Illinois with you consistently winning? I think I need to send Matt, Deri, Tim and Jonny down your way a couple of weeks just so I can keep up :)

Seriously though, love the tourn-out, and I am glad you are playing well! One day, Illinois will knock Missouri out of the top DCI slot :)

Cool! Nice spin on the traditional San Hill squad. I definitely do like using Sidious as a Force Battery for Tyranus' Lightning 4. I haven't tried that combo much outside of 200 points though, so it's cool to see you do well with it. Too bad you didn't get to play the other guy that was 3-0 as well. I'm pretty sure you would have come out on top against him. :D

I don't know about that, Luke's Speeder would have been hard for me to keep up with, he may have just had more legs than I could match up with. Anyway I would like to play that game out, and I've known that guy since 3rd grade, so it was cool to see him come out on top of a tournament, besides Ashoka Tano was the VR prize that he took for first, and he needed it while I already had it.

And Bill, SEND THEM DOWN!, Seriously I would love to get some games in with you guys! I am always looking for ways to improve my play, and unfamiliar opponents are ALWAYS a good way of doing that. I don't even know if I have ever played any of them even in a Vassal game.

Nice squad. Looks like something I would play : ) DT, lotds has been even better since the init rule changed. Easy to get a lightning on something even if you lose init.

All Carl and I need are local stores, with biweekly play, 6 games per day, and no competition. Then we have it! :)

And after a year of that, you really would have NO competition, lol.

After playing for 2.5 years at two different stores in Cincy, with probably close to a 90% win rate, I'm still only in the 1925 range. I've probably got several YEARS to catch up to Dean at these rates. :P
