Just curious if anyone has heard any more on the status of the floor rules update. I have maps I would love to play on in tournaments but at this time can not due to the floor rules not being updated.

unless I am missing something just play with the current floor rules until the new ones are released.

At our Venue in Cincinnati we just play on the new maps as long as everyone agrees on them. If anyone disagrees, we stick strictly to the DCI rules, but otherwise, it's not really a big deal.

But yes, would like to know what the hold up is. Dean, any new news?

Rodney (who is in charge of the Saga RPG) came on the forums the other day and mentioned that there probably would not be any updates for us (the RPG at least) until after the 1st since both WotC and Lucasfilm shut down for 2 weeks around the Holidays. Assuming that means the entire office, I would be surprised at this point if we see any updates including the Floor Rules before the 1st.

...which sucks....and I really need to find a company to work for that gives me 2 weeks off at the end of the year too....

Hey, where is the thread that list what maps are legal?

If you look in the Archives here on the site, in the thread about the maps, the description for each map lists what formats it is legal for. I'll have to update it when we get the new floor rules.

Ok, it's a new year, everyone is back from vacation... do we have any news YET?
