Knights of the Old Republic Release Event @ Dueling Grounds - 1 p.m. Saturday, August 30th Celebrate the new set with this prize-packed official Release Event! Entry is $40 and every player receives two KotOR booster packs, an alternate paint promo mini only available at this event, a new map and a scenario sheet. Using your two KotOR booster packs, players build a 100 pt. squad to compete against other Star Wars fanatics for booster packs of the new set. Prizes for the top 4 players. Start time is 1:00 p.m. All games will be played using the Gambit format. PLEASE NOTE: We will not be using the scenario provided, but we will be using the new map provided. Players are expected to bring a simple way to effectively track damage and effects on your miniatures, and a d20. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE. We just got this info from WOTC so we are now running this event according to their promotion. Directions via TTC from subway: We are a short walk south of Dundas West Station, south of Bloor. Driving in from west of Toronto: Take the 427 south to the Gardiner Expressway if applicable. Follow the Gardiner Expressway eastbound into downtown Toronto and take the Jameson turnoff (just before the Exibition grounds). Follow Jameson north to King St. and turn left (west). Follow King St. westbound until it ends turning north at an intersection with Queen St. Drive north through the intersection (McDonald's on your left) onto Roncesvalles Ave. until you reach a Y intersection where Roncesvalles meets Dundas St. Our store is on the large curve by those lights. Driving in from east of Toronto: Take the Don Valley Parkway south to the Gardiner Expressway if applicable. Follow the Gardiner Expressway westbound into downtown Toronto and take the Jameson turnoff (just after the Exibition grounds). Follow Jameson north to King St. and turn left (west). Follow King St. westbound until it ends turning north at an intersection with Queen St. Drive north through the intersection (McDonald's on your left) onto Roncesvalles Ave. until you reach a Y intersection where Roncesvalles meets Dundas St. Our store is on the large curve by those lights. Driving in from north of Toronto: Depending which is closer, the 427 or Don Valley Parkway, follow the above directions. Parking is available on neighborhood side streets, metered parking besides the Starbucks and the Zellers/Loblaws plaza just north of the store. |
