With all these new figures so painful to get rid of, what do you think the likelihood of Seps fielding at least 1 Geo Soldier to end the life of something big and scary? Has an ultra low attack and hardly any way to get bonuses from the seps, but good ole combined fire could spell the doom for the almost dead uber beat.

I made the statement out when Mr Eternal Hatred was released, but I would love to see this figure come back.

Although a Geonosian CE from a Unique would better to increase the chance of them returning, its more likely that Sonic Weapon will more than likely be resurrected. Whether its a Geonosian on Turret Emplacement or the next in the SA for characters within 6 for Droids.

Geo Soldier would have to be a reprint part of the Clone Wars set or the odd Sep throw-in in other sets in order to make a return. With CS being OOP, it would be hard to field these units for newbs otherwise.

Of course, there is always the "Elite" method of bringing parts back into the fold: Better stats, still the same idea aka Elite Rebel Commando and Yuuzhan Vong Elite Warrior.

It would be cool to see Sonic Attack make a comeback. I don't think using the Soldiers to finish off a piece would really be the answer though. It would take SO much combined to be sure that the attack would even hit.

I think the best way is either a new cheaper fill-in type piece or a new 'Elite' version with a better attack value. Either way, would make for good pieces to slow down stuff like Mara Jedi or Lord Vader.

(An enemy attacked by this character cannot use Force powers for the rest of the Round


ATTACKED?!?!?

Did you mean "hit by an attack from this character?"

Round is probably a bit much, I don't think I'd want to see an ability to shut down Force Powers so much. Some alternatives:

- "rest of the phase"

Shoot first with a Geo, then your second attacker cannot be Blocked/Deflected/etc

- "until the start of your next phase"

Same as above, but prevent the enemy piece from using FPs on their phase. They either have to forgo using something (like Repulse or Push), or waiting to the next phase.

If Sonic Weapon worked like either of the above ways, we'd still be seeing Geo Soldiers played in tournaments today.
