You don't have to worry, everyone is very friendly. After the game, win or loss you and your opponent usually chat for 5-10 (if there is time) discussing how you like each others squad, some mistakes you or the other may have made. At the end of the night everyone is a friend congratulating each other.
It's great practice, really makes a difference from playing the same people over and over again at a local place.

Hey guys, I'm sorry to have missed the last few Vassal tourneys, but my wife and I were cleaning our basement, which was a task as big in scope as blowing up the Death Star!
But now we're done, and so I can continue in my Gencon prep and DCI gaming.

I have absolutely no idea of what squad to use, but I'll pick one and PM it to Dean before we start. Looking forward to it!
