Hi I am looking for other players in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area that are interested in setting up weekly play at one of 2 local gaming stores. I prefer Tuesday at 6 at get your game on, which is in Ann Arbor on Packard, or Fun 4 All in Ypsilanti off washtenaw this store is sort of a pain for me to drive to but I can do it. As far as I can tell, the competitive miniatures scene in the Detroit / Ann Arbor area is largely dead.

Few, if any, places have formal competitive play, or record their results in DCI.

Many places have stopped play, as evidenced by the places I have contacted in the last 4 months:

Gamer's Hub, Lake Orion- closed
Blue Dragon Games, Shelby Township- no regular play listed.
RIW hobbies, Livonia- no regular play listed.
Pandemonium Games, Garden City - no regular play listed.
Hero Quest Comics, Brighton- lists regular play Saturday at 6pm, but never been there.

I am up in Waterford, and cannot find a decent place to play...

Sigh.

I know this thread is pretty old but I just moved into the Ann Arbor area and I am looking for a place to play. If there is a store nearby where you'd like to play sometime let me know.

Heck, guys, if you can get something regular set up, post it here.

I'd drive as far south as Ypsi to get a decent, regular game.

I haven't gone out to either of the lgs here in Ann Arbor/Ypsi to see if anyone is playing SWM yet. I'll let you know if I do get anything regular going. I certainly hope there are some people playing around here.
