Comic Con San Diego '08

Anybody planning on going, or will I be the only lonely player in SoCal who couldn't make it to GenCon?

I try to take my family there each year.

Unfortunately this year it is the week that my daughters start school so we will not be there.

Well I've got two friends going who will probably play some SWM too, so hopefully we'll get a good turnout.

Way cool! I am looking forward to meeting fellow board memebers and having my ass royally handed to me by said persons.

Will we all be wearing tags so we can identify each other? I getting a SWMGamers site shirt so I can be identified and bring the shame of my playing skills back home.

Turns out my daughter's school starts a week later this year so we are going. I will be there on Friday with my family. Unfortunately, I will not be playing.

I plan on getting over to the gaming area and meeting anybody there, though.

ARGH! The pitiful gaming schedule was announced this morning, and Wizards isn't running a single event!

Looks like I'll be doing more RPGA stuff than I originally had planned...

The Con is notorious for not getting all the info up pre-event. Check the WotC booth Wednesday night. They always have their entire events rosters up.

Update: I was at preview night tonight, and there isn't even a WotC booth to be seen. Unless they're setting it up tonight, we're getting nothing at Comic Con.

That's a shame... depressing to think that Wizards won't be at Comic Con at all.
I'll be heading over there tomorrow morning. If they don't have a booth tonight though, I doubt they'll have one at all.

Won't have my comp with me so this'll probably be the last time I'm on unless I check in the morning.

hi um yeah this is horrible, i cant believe they aren't here, if anyone wants a game then maybe we can get together and play in the open game room. I can do it at almost anytime o Saturday after about noon so if anyone wants to get together for a few games just tell me. Im open for it.

My family and I had a great time on Friday. It was crowded as heck, but there was a ton of things to see. Saw a sign for WotC, but not much in the booth.

Favorite part was the "The Big Bang Theory" panel. Got to meet and talk to the stars afterwards. They are really cool. Also, Neil Patrick Harris was very funny.
