INY...what is the best Meta squad. IMO it has to be G&G because it can take B&B down with ease.

i honestly do not think there is a meta anymore. i mean there is always the local meta or whatever, but i really think right now there are only gate keepers. There are a lot of options in about every format anymore. No one can point to one squad and say this is it.

I agree. I have a hard time imagining that Rob knew he would make the enviroment sooo open. If he did, he is a genius, and would love a game against him.

Is a meta squad something that you put out and is better than the things before, so you have the upper hand? Jedi Weapon Masters, IMO
Or is meta a squad that has great synergy and if played tactically is a better squad then those before? San, IMO

In the context of SWM's

my definition of meta is basically the top squads that will do better than most squads, such as JWM's and B&B.

There is another component to meta gaming outside of the mini's, maps and dice rolling. Sitting down across from your opponent and putting them on the defensive (even if they are winning).

Move really quickly the first turn. As soon as your opponent has said "go ahead" make your two moves and say "your turn". Even after one turn, this will start to unnerve some opponents. Don't hold any side conversations, keep focused on the game. Keep track of points and don't let your opponent know you are ahead. On the second turn of the match add up the points in their squad. If they are over, then alert the judge (by this time you will get an auto win).

I expect we will get a Voxn queen at some point that will be uber good. Basically Vong just need some sort of piece that has base 20 DAM and that can actualyl attack with it instead of needing all of these CEs to help.
