Cool! I'll have to check it out this weekend sometime.

Where would one find this test?

Dean said on the WotC site that you have to log into your DCI account.

Good luck with that. I have tried for 2 years to get my account fixed so I can log in and never have been able to do so. ~DSBoom

I've had to reset the password on my DCI account MULTIPLE times, but it's always worked fine after that. If I ask to reset my password, or hit the 'forgot your password' link, it immediately sends an email with a new password, and lets me right in. Now....if you can't remember which email address you used to register it....then you could have a problem.

I call trick questions on a few, though I got endlessly entertained by some of the names used.

Still, I breezed by.

Well, somehow I had to reactivate my account (I know I did it before), but it took this time. I used to just hit Forgot Password and it replied that my DCI account could not be reset... because evidently my account was never activated properly in their system!?

Whatever.

I passed, 96%, would have been a 100% if I just read the darn question completely.

Well the thing is that I don't know that an e-mail address was ever tied to it, or if one was what e-mail it would be.

I'm also not sure about my # but I think I can get that from the guy that schedules sanctioned events at the LGS.

Otherwise I may just have to take Nickname's advice and get a new number and then try to get the numbers consolidated (though a really old number will mean lowering my score somewhat).

Boris, whenever you go to your LGS next time, ask if they can give you your DCI number out of the DCI reporting software. The software should be storing everyone's DCI numbers that regularly plays there, and it should be quite simple to just write it down.

Yay! I'm a SWM Rules Advisor. 8)

I saw a couple questions that needed minor edits. I can submit those to you privately, if you'd like.

I got an 84% :( I had an issue with the wording of one question that mislead me to click one of the multiple choices that was incorrect. Other than that I thought it was a great test.

Yeah, there were one or two kind of tricky questions because of how they were worded (specifically one about using Replaces Attacks abilities and the one choice about attacking allies). But I managed to land a 92%. :D

Because it is there

Yep, I got both of mine. Would be quite ironic if I got them wrong!

I missed one.

...but it turned out the question had the wrong answer marked as correct. :)

Haha, that's funny NickName.

emr, I didn't miss it because I mis-read it. EDITED by DNEMILLER.

Specific questions cannot be shared Lobo!!!

Ha, well I took it, and only got 84%, needed 85% to pass. I think I missed three questions, and all of them were kinda oddly worded. But overall, its a pretty well done test, in the future though Dean, I would stay away from (choose all that are true) style. Make them all choose the best fit answer.

I admit they can be slightly confusing, Bill, but, how often in this game is there only one possible outcome to a situation. When dealing with specific characters and situations, yes; when dealing with general actions that can take place, there are typically many different ways that situations can play out.

Yup. The other thing that's a huge challenge is creating good questions that can be cited from the rulebook/inserts only rather than from the FAQ. All the stuff that makes for fun challenging questions is from the FAQ. (I'm not sure if they finally have the FAQ as a citable source now, but before Dean got involved and I stepped back a bit it was not.)

Actually The question I think was marked correct as the question was which were not true about it....

I think that was a different question. The one I missed was a multi-answer and I picked two true ones, so either they both should have come up correct or incorrect, but it was a split. So something was wrong even if I read the question incorrectly.

Jason, if it is the same one I am thinking of, it has been corrected.
