Looking for players in the Los Angeles area.

Every Wednesday Night at 6:00pm a group of us meet for SWM League play at GAME EMPIRE in Pasadena, CA. We are always looking for new players.
The store has a large game room with large tables perfect for SWM battles.

If only Pasadena wasn't 90 minutes away for me (Ventura here)... :(

Do you guys run any tourneys on a regular basis? DCI and all that jazz?

Right now we are kicking around the idea of going DCI at least 2 nights a months, but nothing yet set in stone. The holidays really killed us. At one point before we had 6 to 8 regular players every Wednesday (and the occasional Saturday) until Halloween came around. Then it started tapering off. So we are trying (and expecting) that the numbers will increase since the new year is upon us. Right now we are at a regular 4 to 5 players...

I personally would love to go DCI... But I am also content with playing the casual (non sanctioned) league play on Wednesday night with a group of people that just love to play STAR WARS MINIS. (Isn't that what it's all about anyway?)

Tonight (1/2/08) was a great success. We had a couple experimental squads go at it and loved every moment of it. LUKE SKYWALKER HPU was fun to see. That is what SWM is all about. Having fun. And that is what our Wednesday night is all about....

We welcome everyone (young and old) that loves Star Wars.... THE GAME... THE MOVIES....
