Probably heavy on the NR, Imps, and Sith. Some smattering of Vong since the description does say post ROTJ stuff. Likely filled out with other stuff from the current DH comics.

Cool. NR might make another comeback again.

As of this split second, I think classic B&B keeps getting more and more powerful.

Then why post at all?

Thrawn will be aggressively played I think. The immunity to many force powers is something that is very important today.

From what I can tell the Rebels will dominate the metagame, Loda squads will be flying everywhere and Han Cannon variants will be played a lot. Kota might see some play in Republic, B&B will still be the gatekeeper, Shaak will definitely be experimented with, Broken Boba will still see play and Thrawn will become even more powerful than he already is.

Only time will tell.

Keep in mind, this prediction is only valid till March, when Legacy comes out. I don't know if it will shake things up as much as Force Unleashed, but I wouldn't doubt it.

I totally forgot about LotF. Is it Rebels and Imperials or Republic and Seps?

No, its will probaby mainly have NR, Sith, maybe some Vong, I haven't read the books, but thats what I heard would be the main focus of the set. I'd like to read the books eventually when I get some free time(if I ever get any good amount of free time before summer).

As I understand it, the main focus of the Set will be the comic called Legacy. Though that is strange since it is the title of the book series. This is the set to get a NR Luke in if we're ever going to get another. I dont expect more than a few new pieces from the LotF books, maybe a new Luke, Jacen and/or Jaina, possibly Ben Skywalker, or Lumiya. I wouldn't expect all of those though.

My guess is that it will be NR/Rebel, Imperial, and Sith heavy.

It will probably have around 15 pieces from the comic and books. I'm hoping for something from the books since I've at least read some of them. Then if that movie subset idea is right we'll see a bunch of ROTJ movie related pices. I would not object to a new Emperor piece, a Chief Chirpa, or a large based C-3PO Ewok Diety with him sitting in his wooden throne.

the only clue we have to which movie the set will be based on is the new Luke, which is taken from the comic that comes immediately after ANH. If we get him, plus ROTJ pieces, that would make for at least 2 Lukes. This is also the set to give us a new NR Luke if we'll ever get one, so we're looking at 3 more Lukes in this set.

If the set is indeed ROTJ-based, plus knowing that we get Rebellion-comic Luke, and knowing that they've made Luke+Obi/Yoda units in the last two sets respectively, I can see the ROTJ-based Luke being Luke+Leia on speeder bike. what do you think?

That would be a decent choice for a Luke and Leia from ROTJ since we already have Leia, RH and a couple dressed all in black Lukes. I'm going to have to give ROTJ another watching later just to see what else would make good minis.

Yeah that was my thought, the only other Leia we don't have from ROTJ is Leia as Boushh, but we already have boushh, so I'd rather see Luke+Leia on Speederbike, its a much more iconic image from the movie.

I gave ROTJ another veiwing last night. In addition to what I've already said I could see them making, Oola, Salicious Crumb, that head droid at Jabba's Palace, the rancor keeper (either un named non unique with empethy or named unique with empathy and a creature CE), Generals Solo, Calrissian, & Madine, a Rebel Mon Mothma, various named Rebel/Imp officer types. They could also copy from Decipher's CCG and do Unique Jabba's Palace creatures that enhance the non uniques of the same species. Like an Ortugg that gives some bonus to allied Gammoreans.

I'd be happy with any/all of those choices. And if the "upcoming artist proof of minis" thread that Boba52, we seem bound to be getting a Leia as Boushh

I forgot to add Leia as Boushh (kind of like the BH Boushh, but without the helmet) to my list. I'm still hoping for some Unique rebel speeder bike action though. Another Jabba could fit too of course.

That would be fun, instead of Rebel Snowspeeders you could have Rebel Speeder Bike squads. If the Snowspeeder had speed 16 then the Speeder Bikes would have something around speed 24, hopefully with strafe.

If they do add in a Unique speeder bike I'd guess it would basicly work like the RS one, but with better stats and force points and powers.

Indeed. Hmmm, why would I post the words "no comment?"

Because a person with inside information (regarding GenCon, at least) can't really make "predictions."
