My squad Vindication surprised me and I believe others as well. I wanted to try to build a squad with Vindicated for a while and went through about 4 different squads before finally settling on this one.
First round was against the rebel squad with the new Yoda, Han, and Leia. I set up first round to kill Leia at the top of the 2nd round. I lost init with my tact +4 and Leia lives. I fought my way back to a 41-41 tie at the end of the game and he has dodonna closest to center to my uggie. He wins with the tie breaker. Disappointing loss but I wouldn't change how I played that game. I set up good and IMO made no mistakes, dice just didn't go my way.
2nd round vs OR with exile, Jaq, Mikal,.
He messed up with placement of the Exile and I was able to get a couple first round shots on her. I win init and finish her off. 3pnts 1-1
3rd round was against Corran, Anakin, Klat cap squad. I lost map and we played on asteroid base. I marched my squad into gambit and controlled gambit picking off pieces when I could, finally he was left with little choice but to charge in and try to take out vindicated but being disrupted and me winning init with the tactiction and then going with 2 (tactiction) and combining fire with my crack shot crusaders spelled doom for Corran horn and clean up from there. 3pnts, 2-1
Round 4 against Gerry and his deathshot Naboo. I rush in with vindicated disrupting a few of his guys and killing a couple. He forgot about disruptive and was forced to pull back out of gambit and take shots with his guys. He rolled 2crits and Vindicated was in trouble, he then rushed a pilot around to base a scout in the back. I pulled vindicated back to disrupt that pilot and take him out with another activation. I didn't pull vindicated back far enough and he was able to get a couple more shots of at the end of the game. He needed 2 rolls of 15 and me to fail 1 of the beskergam saves. He got just that to finish of Vindicated and win him the game. Once again, another very close game with Gerry.

I told Gerry, that while the Mando training seargent would have helped in the game against him I wouldn't change my squad. I think Vindicated is a good individual piece but a hard piece to build with.

I was extremly close to making the top 4 with the 2 losses being extremly close games.
This is a Bold statement to make about a squad that only went 2-2 but I believe this is the optimized build for Mandalore the Vindicated. I built about 4 different vindicated squads when I settled on this one and I would not change it.

Jake this is a very good build, it gave my Pilots fits as all I could do was dance around the Vindicated's perimeter. The two Troopers with Deceptive were the MVP's of our match, with honorable mention to her majesty Queen Amidala for her timely crit.

I enjoy our matches greatly and were very pleased you were able to make it to FrostyCon this year!
