Post subject:  Want maps laminated cheap and coming to a tourney near you
Some of the MI guys have acquired a laminator and will be driving it around to various tournies in the Deerkiller this upcoming regional/tourney season.

It will definately be at the

K-town Challenge
Marmalade Dog
MI Regionals
any other event that Eric takes the Deerkiller to.

It might also be making the trip to Gencon although still working out the logistics of this.

We will be charging $5 per map unless you get 5 or more maps done and then it will be $4 a map (5 maps for $20)

So if you have any maps laying around that need to get laminated bring them along.

Could also work out something where if you shipped them to Eric before hand we could have them laminated and bring them along.

Also if you could post here with an idea of how many you might be bringing to a given tourney it would be helpful so we can make sure we have the appropriate amount of laminate along. Would hate to run out.

I'm only slightly disturbed that my van is being called the Deer killer. It's very practical and new useful for transporting the laminator. :DDroid:

Laminator transporter just doesn't roll off the tongue like

Deerkiller

So until your van does something else cool it will probably be known as the deerkiller.

I would say bring plenty of stuff to laminate with, I talked with 3 of our regular players and they all indicated they will be having multiple maps laminated at the K-Town. See you in a few weeks...safe travelling.

How about an estimate on the number of maps? That will help to ensure I have enough lamination along.

The Maryland regional is the same weekend that I have my kids (oops).
I checked 640 miles from my house, 11 ish hours.

As an alternative, since the maps that you want laminated are already folded up, you could mail them to me. I can laminate them and mail them back to you in one of those triangular priority tubes. This would not pay for one map, but for several it would be cheaper.

Engineer, if I had to merely guess I would say at least 10 dbl. sided maps and as many as 15 just from our 5 most regular players in Kokomo and perhaps more. As far as those travelling to the event that might want some done it's anybody's guess. One of our players has many maps and has never gotten around to laminating any of them and when I told him about your laminating plans he was quite happy.

That is just fine. We should have time to laminate about 120-150 maps that day. Having them unfolded is a must. As the time gets closer let's talk more.
