Royal Rumble:

Players are to bring 3 squads of up to 100 points each that contain only two characters. Squads do not have to be exactly 100 and faction rules will not be followed. Unique rules are followed throughout all three squads, meaning if you use a character who counts as Han Solo in one squad you may not use him in another.

Map: Rattatak Arena, arena area only.

Setup: Players will reveal their squads and roll for set-up. Highest player chooses one of the four doors in the arena area and sets up his two characters adjacent to that door, 2nd highest follows etc.

Play:
Initiative is determined by highest roll after all ties have been rerolled. In the case of two players having Master Tactician, the highest roll (assuming no 1's) between them is the winner. That player chooses who goes first and play proceeds to the left. Players take turns activating one character at a time.

Targeting: You may target the nearest character in any opponent's squad, even if that character is not the closest.

Scoring: Points are awarded to the player that defeats an opponent's character equal to the defeated character's cost. The player with figures remaining at the end, adds the cost of those minis to his total.

When both of you character's from a given squad are defeated, at the beginning of the next round, prior to your first activation, place your next squad in your initial starting area. Play continues until only 1 player has any squads. Player with the highest total wins.

Dark Force Spirit, Force Spirit, and Impulsive Twin: Even though squads has been used to label each 100 point pair, the entire 300 points is your actual squad. Thus Dark Force Spirit will continue to function each round and Force Spirit may be assigned to characters that will be placed in later rounds. Impulsive abilities (currently only Twin) are thus in effect when that character is placed if any unique in your squad was defeated in previous rounds.

I had a great time playing in the K-Town Challange last year. I am guess we had about 20 people there for the main tournament on Saturday. Folks came down from MI and up From KY, so it was a great time.

lol I'm the slowest driver you have ever met (always last to LA). Maybe can get Jake to drive (he is a fast driver lol). Or if Scott goes all delivery drivers are fast drivers right?

We will have without a doubt 5 or 6 people for the 200 playing from our store (DMZ), and likely more than that for other events (tile wars, duo, etc.).

Brad, you guys decide on 4 duos for Rumble? Usually it is 3 duos. The rest looks fine.

Wow, I need to build a squad. What to play? I guess the old Nute will have to do. Which of the three destroyer droids? Hmmm.
