With only one shooter, I hope you realized the the Old Republic Senator's CE only affect Old Republic followers

I would've hoped that, with the v-set, the game would've evolved to the point where one wouldn't feel obligated to have to bring in 10 mouse droids with reinforcements.

LOL

No I totally missed that, I thought it was just followers.

Oh well, I guess Atton goes in then.

Oh, there is one important OR piece which has not yet been revealed which might make this not always necessary. :D

That's what I had suspected OR would get, which makes me happy that perhaps I won't continue to see masses of Mouse Droids on the board anymore.

Well, I'm sure it will continue to happen to some degree. But honestly, in an OR squad, it's kind of pointless anyways right now. The advantage to using lots of MDs like that is when you already HAVE tempo control, and the MDs allow you still out-activate other tempo control. If you don't have tempo control to start with, then loading up on all those MDs doesn't really help you all that much. Besides, if you look at Gha Nachkt and the 10 Mouse Droids, that's 11 activations total. For Gha's 12 points, you could do 4 Ugos, then bring in 6 more activations with Lobot if you really need to, and still have 10 activations total. Then, with 4 Ugos in the squad to start with, you can be a little more free to bring non-door control stuff with Lobot if the need arises.

For instance, if you're already running Han/TBSV, then Lando DS might be a good option, as he would gain Double and GMA as well.

I think that's a really good suggestion for this squad, though you'd need to go with 2-3 mice then ugg(s) for Gha in the main squad to keep the Lando option available.

It occured to me that Han/Lando would make a nice pair of cheap shooters in several different factions when I first saw the previews. Fun stuff.

Yeah, was sort of the idea behind the design I think (don't know for sure, I didn't design it, but it obviously seems that way). The two of them are kind of like complements to each other, but both work with similar ideas.

It wasn't intentional, but it was talked about. I think one of the playtest squads was something like:

21 New Han
18 Lando DS
18 Twilek Vigo
71 Darth Vader, LotF
08 Mas Amedda
11 Admiral Ozzel
32 Thrawn
12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4
09 Mouse Droid x3

Basically Vader sat in the back most of the game building up Force points while Han and Lando double greater mobiled on incoming targets. There is some duplication with Thrawns CE and Lando and the Vigo, but regardless, it was pretty straight forward.
