I'm thinking I might go with one of these at a local con next weekend. Constructive comments are appreciated! Are these strong enough to compete? Which would you choose? -Mando- 68 Mandalore the Indomitable 57 Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander 51 Basilisk War Droid 24 Mandalorian Jedi Hunter -Imp- 75 Darth Vader, Jedi Hunter 54 Cad Bane 40 Prince Xizor 31 Arica -Sith- 82 Darth Bane 63 Darth Plagueis 41 Proxy 14 Exar Kun, Dark Force Spirit (v-set previews are legal for this event) This last one amuses me. Especially Proxy with Bane's stats, Renewal and Sith Rage. |

Personally, I like the Mando one the best, but maybe that's just because I like Mandos. Another F4 squad that I've heard discussed is this: 88 Darth Revan 49 Sith Heavy Assault Droid 49 Sith Heavy Assault Droid 14 Iktotchi Tech Specialist 200pts That's a lot of +14 attacks, from droids that take a LONG time to kill. And one I've wanted to use for a while: 115 GMLS 45 Mara Jade, Jedi 29 Ganner Rhysode 11 Human Bodyguard 200pts I just love using GMLS, and with Ganner and Mara he's got a chance to do really well. Your opponent has to choose which major threat to try to take down first, which allows the other to wreak havoc quite freely. Make sure that Mara and Luke enter combat on the same round (usually move her 6 squares for an assault and levitate Luke in for his 6-hit combo), or else the one will die before the other can get there to divert your opponent's firepower. |

Thanks Yeah, I think the Mando outfit looks pretty good if I don't get a bad map. The SHAD squad is pretty nasty, and I think it is likely someone will bring it. I like the GMLS too. Better than the one I made with Ganner, Leia JK and Dengar HK for sure. FF is a great format for the Grandmaster. |

Yep, F4 gives GMLS a chance to really shine, since his high cost isn't nearly as much of a detriment as it normally is since you don't suffer in activations if you bring him. Also, a BG with Mara is pretty crazy. Your opponent will be expecting to drop her pretty quickly, but then 1 phase later you can bring in the BG to absorb the next 2 hits which would've killed her. If that means that she gets a second assault, you're in a great position to win the game. The Revan squad is cool because, not only do you have lots of powerful attacks, but you also have door control (Iktotchi Tech's Gimmick) and a useful movement breaker in Revan's CE. That can give you some attack options that you wouldn't normally have in F4. This squad can really mess with the Durge-JH-centered builds which can also be popular in these formats, since your main damage dealers aren't jedi (therefore taking less hits and less damage from Durge), and they last longer than any other piece out there, even Durge. |

Im runnin the FF, and I'll be bringing the Revan + SHAD squad in case someone has a bye, unless Kristen wants to play it, anyway. This ought to be fun, lol. |
