I plan on getting a PROXY soon so i wanted to start to build with him.... --Seps seeing double-- 57 General Grievous, Droid Army Commander 19 def, 8 attack, 20 damage for proxy to copy then +4 attack, +4 Def & Twin to all droids. 41 PROXY probably use the t1 or GG,DAC to steal stats from then get the bonus from the CE's and SA. To have a possiblity of 50 damage on a double twin or even just a twin if he moves 23 Commando Droid Captain Droids w/in 6 gain double attack 40 T1 Series Bulk Loader Droid x2 Starts with 140 HP, 15 Def, 8 Att, 40 Damage then gets double twin, +8 Att, +4 Def and +10 Dam for a total of 140 HP, 19 def, 16 att, 50 Damage on four attacks. mean. melee reach 2 as well. 15 Battle Droid Sergeant ROger Roger gives Droids w/in 6 gain +10 Damage 12 Gha Nachkt Droid re-costing and droid fixing if needed 8 Battle Droid Officer Fire control gives +4 Attack 4 Mouse Droid x2 Activations and extend the commando CE (200pts. 10 activations) I know that there is not a lot of non-melee on this squad but i would try to keep them in cover to add to thier def. Any thought on improvements or alternate figures.... |

Well, the Battle Droid Sargeant only works on Non-Uniques, so he won't help PROXY at all. You're basically putting all your hopes on Proxy and the T1 though, neither of which have any real defensive abilities. They'll get shredded by a shooter heavy squad. Not sure what kind of games you usually play, but you don't have any door control on there either. In addition, PROXY already has Double Attack as well, so your BD Sergeant and the Commando Droid Captain are really only boosting the T1. So you have 40 points of commanders there to boost a 21 point piece. Not a good balance to have more commanders than followers. |

Thanks lobo, I forgot all about the non-unique part for the sargeant. So maybe get rid of the BDS and add Who? if i got rid of Gha and the BDS i would have about 20 points to use. How would you spend it? Door control and what else? Thanks again |

Well, you certainly need something else to benefit from the CEs you're already using. An IG-86 might be a good choice, as it can gain Double and Twin, though it's often times tough to pull off the double attack. That doesn't leave you with much for door control either though. I just now noticed that you have 2 T1's in there, not just 1. So, might consider dropping one of those, and then with your 40-ish points, adding 2 IG-86s and a couple Ugos. |

I am glad to see someone try to run Proxy but I hate to admit it he is just too over cost to make him competitive. But I do run him in fun games all the time. |

Proxy + Whorm Loathsom + Darth Tyranus LotDS is a pretty good starting point too. |
