And old idea I have yet to try out:

57 General Grievous, Droid Army Commander
54 Cad Bane
48 Darth Tyranus
41 PROXY

Proxy mimics Tyranus and gets his Dark Inspiration (LS Duelist). With GGDAC, Proxy will have Double/Twin at +19, base def of 24, 28 in cover or when based by force users.

Cad and Proxy are the main show, Tyranus does Lightning, runs interference as needed, and GG stays back and shoots, then cleans up.

Thoughts?

Not a bad combo at all. I had thought of going with Proxy for this Monday, but it was nothing like that. Pretty epic what youve got there.

My only concern with it might be Proxy going down easily once hes in the thick of it. Unboosted Cad needs 8s to hit him in the clear, which isnt too hard to get, especially since most people playing Cad will probably have some kind of boost added to him, be it extra attacks, Opportunist, or something else to increase his dmg output.

Yep, you're right about that. Boosted Cad is bad for this on the whole, much less Proxy.
Definite lack of range defense (other than Cad). I seem to be stuck on melee-heavy builds these days.

Might be fun to try anyway. It's not like I have a shot at this month's league prizes. :P

Thanks

Pffft, thats not the spirit. the only reason Im in second right now is cause I was 1 of 2 people who played 5 matches last week. I only won 3 of em, too.

Still think I woulda beat Carl if I had remembered Kyle was giving Duelist to Cad and Han though.

Lol, yeah the more matches you play the better the chances of getting a good matchup.

If I had had kept Bandon alive a round or two longer, our game might have gone down to the wire. I was surprised it ended up as close as it was. I will fondly remember Cad falling to force corruption for some time to come. :P

Here's another idea:

63 General Grievous, Scourge of the Jedi
61 Cade Skywalker, Bounty Hunter
76 Telosian Tank Droid x2

Can the tanks dish it out fast enough? Hmm...

Nice, but I bet my Flobi, Cad, Boba BH, JarJar team can take it down, lol.

if you dont mind my asking, what are some of the other ones youve come up with. Kristen and I are trying to find her something to play for FF at Little Egypt Wars, ubt so far, shes unsure.

The one listed in my other post, for which Vader to use, was her idea, I was just posting it for her for suggestion. She thinks she'd do better with legacy, but I think Lord might be the better choice overall.

Yes, I'm sure it would, though I would love to try.

Go ahead Jar Jar - send 12 shots (+splash) per round in Flobi's direction. :P

Other squads? Here are a bunch... (sorry about all the dual-Felcor squads, lol)

Cad, Blizzard 1, Wookiee Hunter AT-ST, AT-ST :ATST:

Kyle CI, Han GH, Felcor x2

D. Krayt, Boba Merc, Zuckuss BH, Dengar HK

Vader JH, Cad, Prince Xizor, Arica

Naga, Malak DLotS, Nihilus, Maul SA :maul:

Naga, Freedon, Cad, Dactillon :P

Vader Legacy, Palpy SL, Hondo, Thrawn

GM Yoda, Obi on Boga, Felcor x2 ("Huge n' Tiny")

GMLS, Ganner, Leia JK, Dengar HK

Exar, 2 Dragons, Rakghoul

Exile, Felcor x2, Mira

Mandalore Ind., Boba MC, Basilisk, Mando JH

Vader Legacy, Cad Bane, Thrawn, Kreia (wait, what?! :P )

Hehe, I forgot about that Mando squad...that looks FUN.
