As those of you who were there know, I went 3-3 with a, shall we say, untraditional squad that also won me the award for most creative/clueless/ballsy squad design. A couple people have asked that I post, and I needed to get a Gamers account going anyway, so here it is. Wall of Vong 45 Garm Bel Iblis 78 Yuuzhan Vong Ossus Guardian x3 28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler 23 Jarael 10 Jagged Fel 9 General Dodonna 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2 New Republic/Fringe Reinforcements: 11 Ithorian Commander 17 Bothan Noble (most often) OR 11 Ithorian Commander 16 Elite Rebel Commando (because sometimes two ugnaughts aren't enough) OR 26 Yuuzhan Vong Ossus Guardian 4 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist |

What I really want to hear, is from your opponent's and what they thought when they realized they were just beaten not only by a girl, but by this surprisingly powerful squad design.  Anyway, congrats again Laura, I was really proud of how well you played it on Sat! |

very tough to kill indeed took me much longer to take out then i expected. Thank God rex doesnt have fp's

Thanks, Bill. I had a great time on Saturday and I was very surprised and pleased by how well my squad and I did. I actually think the better reactions were from the players (Weeks being one) who wound up beating me, but had a much tougher time than expected. It was fun to see the looks on their faces when they started to realize just how powerful those little Vong buggers can be. Your opponent really has to stop and think about how they're going to beat you--if you run into the middle of the Wall with a Force user of any type, you are not running out again. It resulted in a lot of very fun, hotly contested games. |

Congrats! Vong are probably my favorite faction, so Im glad to see that someone was able to do that well with them in a tourney that size. |

I, for one, can say that I would of loved to face it (even though I would of lost since Jarael and LV couldn't of done anything!); but, I believe it would of been a fun time! It looks very interesting. |
