So Im working on a squad using the Desert Skiff to spread the destructive power of Anakin's Force Repulse. So far, ive got: 33 Deliah Blue 27 Lobot 25 Leia Skywalker, Jedi Knight 23 General Wedge Antilles 23 Anakin Solo 23 Desert Skiff 9 General Dodonna This leaves me with 37 points to spare, plus Lobot's Reinforcements, with 7 activations so far. Ive got a couple ideas for what to put in for the rest, but none of it seems any good to me. I think I wanna go with Lobot bringing in an MTB and a Felucian, to give Anakin access to first round Repulse, if need be. Also, I need to fit some Mice in there someplace, so have one ride with Anakin, so when he detonates, I cna have the skiff save first for the damage, and getting a re-roll from Leia, before the mouse goes up, hopefully keeping Anakin from needing to save or die with the skiff, or at least giving him two rolls, again thanks to Leia, to save. Deliah is for Industrial Repair mostly, though the Mobile Accurate Cunning is nice, and Anakin can repair as well. Suggestions? Edit: Forgot Wedge, lol. |

I'd use Jacen as well, and use Leia RH, so that you can get the "Lawnmower" rolling. |

Sorry, I guess I forgot to mention the idea was to have Anakin aboard the Skiff, so I doubt the extra movement from Leia RH would work. Good idea though, thanks. |

Not a bad idea for the skiff. I myself was trying to think of a squad with grand master yoda aboard the skiff. Never finished it though. But yours is another idea that could work really well or if your bad with saves, really bad. It would certanly be fun to try. I know not enough activations if you did this idea but if you had ganner aboard the skiff at the time would he be able to levitate anakin off the skiff or just leave him behind and run him up to the skiff and levitate him off. I don't know. Not really a good idea but one that I had questions with so I thought I'd bring it up. |

The problem Im having with this I believe it needs alot of things in this 57 points (a cheap force user to be sacked for Anakin's UtF, door control, mice, a bit more dmg output, maybe init control in the form of MTB), but I cant think of a good way to accomplish all of those. I have thought of using the 37 as Gha Nackt + alot of acts, but I only have 4 Mouse Droids, so please keep that in mind when suggesting loads of activations, lol. If I go with activations, then I have the mice, door control, and can bring in a felucian and MTB with lobot, but ive got really low dmg output. if I go with more dmg output, then if I want to use the felucian + MTB combo, if really limits the number of available points I have to spend to make the MTB worth it, before I wind up sacking something important or have to wory about getting him caught in a UtF blast prematurely. |

33 Deliah Blue 27 Lobot 25 Leia Skywalker, Jedi Knight 23 General Wedge Antilles 23 Anakin Solo 23 Desert Skiff 12 Antarian Ranger 12 Gha Nackt 9 General Dodonna 7 Felucian 6 Mouse Droid x3 Preferred Reinforcements: 9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3 8 Muun Tactics Broker 2 Mouse Droid (200 Points. 18 activations) This gives me hopefully enough mice to keep one alive on the skiff, and others helping to spread Leia's CE to give extra saves. Ive got fodder for the MTB in the form of the ugos, felucian, and the free mouse, and the ranger provides a bit more dmg output from range (so Im not based and then lose it in the explosion), who can hang back with Leia, or sit on the Skiff with Anakin. Thoughts? |
