--Ulic's Mandos--
61 Ulic Qel-Droma
46 Sith Lord x2
38 Mandalorian Scout x2
13 Czerka Scientist
11 Darth Sidious Hologram
8 R7 Astromech Droid
8 Taung Warrior
6 Mouse Droid x2
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3

(200pts. 14 activations)

Pretty fun team Ulic lets you get a hold of some shooters which the Sith need badly to compete. You got 2 Lightning Throwers and 2 scouts all with renewal. I still think Ulic is the Most playable Sith Lord 160Hp 23D +16A 20D is an amazing stat line. Exar, Ulic, and GMLS are the only guys with 23D, and Ulic is 20 points cheaper then Exar and 50 Points Cheaper then GMLS. The Taung Warrior is a nice add for a 40 hp bg for anyone.

I've played it twice now. Its beaten Reinforced GOWK, and Vong Hunters i see its only bad matchup vs Act Control which is a problem for a lot of factions. Please Comment

I'm a big fan of Sith actually, and think they bring a lot more to the competitive table than most. Personally, I really like this build as it covers its bases quite well. As for dealing with activation control, you can do a number of things. Sure, the first round of attacks against an opp squad, you are going to get hit a lot. Protect your pieces, make your opponent make hard choices, and set up for the next round. It's a difficult tactical set up, but the top level players can pull it off quite well against most squads. Once you are on them, even with say a dead Sith Lord, or 1/2 health Uliq, you've got em anyways.

Don't forget you can base with the scouts (counter intuitive to almost every person I've seen run Mandos) to force nasty AoOs. But with the multiple threats, and ways to do damage, the Scouts aren't critical to this build either. In the right situation, doing the unconventional, is exactly what makes these squads work. I think this build is Tier 1.

This looks like fun! Mind if I use it to crush people, and give you the credit?

Crush away. Sith have always had some great beats but didnt have the support to make it work. With Ulic you get the shooting support and some BG's for him. He becomes a major pain to try and kill.

Nice squad, looks fun.

Not to sidetrack too much, but there are a few Vaders with 23 Defense. And Kota has a 23 Defense as well. :)
