--White and Blue--
46 Darth Vader, Sith Apprentice
41 Captain Rex, 501st Commander
32 Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo)
22 Imperial Governor Tarkin
11 Admiral Ozzel
8 Mas Amedda
16 R7 Astromech Droid x2
15 Caamasi Noble x3
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3

Preferred Reserves:
(Admiral Ozzel) 20 501st Legion Stormtrooper x2

This builds on the very old concept of out activating an opponent and swapping in a big hitter for lots of damage <120 in this case>. Rex provides cover fire and allows you to swap for line of sight on enemies when basing with Vader is impossible or disadvantageous.

(200pts. 14 activations)

3 Caamasi nobles?? Wouldn't it be better to just go with 5 Brutes instead? You don't have any Stealth pieces, so you won't be keeping the Caamasi alive due to tricks like that. Plus, you'll probably lose the Caamasi on the following round when you swap out Vader/Rex to safety. Something will surely get LOS on just the Caamasi. Better to run at least some cheap brutes so you're only losing 3 points instead of 5. Maybe switch it out for 1 Caamasi, a Gran, and 3 Brutes?

I'm also not convinced you need 2 R7. I think that could be utilized for more swap fodder as well. With Thrawn's swap options in round 1 and 2, you should be able to easily blow 2 doors without losing any Ugos, and on just about any map besides Train Station, once you get 2-3 doors blown, you really don't need much Override anymore after that.

My main thinking here is that even with 14 activations, against some Rebel/NR/Sep squads, you'll still be out-activated, so having Double Override may not be that essential. Again, might better to have some more swappers.

I've played this squad lately on Vassal, but I've cut Ozzel for 2 501st Commanders. I felt the squad was pretty good, but the lack of override concerned me a bit. I'd definitely upgrade for at least 1 Commander + a brute (probably for an R7 and 2 camassis). I think a +14/20 quad backup shooter is just too good for 15 pts to not to have.

With the pieces in question I believe I have 31 points to work with (3 camassi's and 2 Droids)

I could increase my activation count to 17 by doing the following:
2x Camassi Noble
3x Gran Raider
3x Rodian Brute

My only issue with that is that it takes away the LOS tricks for Rex.

Rex has Greater Mobile. What Los issues are you referring to that you need more than 2 Caamasi's?

I wasn't saying to get rid of BOTH droids. Maybe just one of them. Having some form of Override is always decent. But double-override isn't THAT helpful IMO, unless it's a utility piece that will be used for other things as well (ERC, R2-Astromech, etc.).

I made a somewhat similar squad earlier in the week, centered around Vader, Thrawn, and Bossk, TH with 501st commander backup:

--Vader gets an Oppurtunity--
46 Darth Vader, Sith Apprentice
32 Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo)
29 Bossk, Trandoshan Hunter
28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler
30 501st Legion Clone Commander x2
8 Mas Amedda
8 Wicket
10 Caamasi Noble x2
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3

(200pts. 13 activations)

I know its probably low on activations, but maybe this will give you some ideas.

The line of sight tricks are over-riding doors open so that Rex can shoot through the doors, not much of a trick, but sometimes it works to my advantage and allows Rex to get shots my opponent has not considered.

running ozzel and getting out activated is a dead sentence against rebel swap builds or NR levi builds. You just cant react to mid round swap strikes fast enough to get ahead. Also there is always the chance that you will run into a Cad swap with uber activations (not a great meta choice but there will probably be people who run it).

I agree with Johnny that taking lobot is probably the best way to go so you can taylor 20 points for security

46 Darth Vader, Sith Apprentice
41 Captain Rex, 501st Commander
32 Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo)
27 lobot
22 Imperial Governor Tarkin
11 Admiral Ozzel
8 Mas Amedda
4 gran
3 Brute
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

this build can get you up to 17 activations (5 brutes and a camassi) against rebels builds or can bring in your camassis or HBGs, a second override and the like.
There are deffinate weaknesses to squads like these, lobot fills in a fair amount of gaps made when facing different matchups.
