Problem here is you have to pick if you are going to go the Battle droid route for filler ansd dump the sergeant because the sergeant won't be doing much when the BDs won't hit more than maybe 1/4 of their shots. I would replace the Sergeant with stronger shooters like IGs or a Magnaguard for a little interference.

If you're going the pawned Lancer route.. the standard, game winner is something like:

no San, no other droids. Can choose to drop CLobot for some droids if you want. You don't want San, because you want to be able to do a Pawn + Lancer turn early in a round to clear enemies from the field. After a double Strafe (Strafe 24 on Pawn, Strafe back 24 to safety, next round Gha heals the 10 dam from Pawn) you should be even on activations anyways.

This is a very strong build, but like all lancer builds, suffers vs Multiple Riposte/Djem So and SD damage.

What would u think if I simply swapped out BD Sergeant and the 5x Battle Droids for Captain Mar Tuuk and Lobot, CLO?
Then drop San for a Twilek Bodyguard.

I realize it would require me exposing Mar Tuuk to shots to do this so idk if activating 2-3 a phase would really be necessary other than being able to get Recon and Pawn The Lancer and Strafe back on a won initiative..

lmk what you think about that.

I don't really think that Mar will be beneficial. You really only need to be able to Pawn+Strafe in one round, and normal activations lets you do that.
