--You Don't Know the Power of the Vong--
45 Garm Bel Iblis
78 Yuuzhan Vong Ossus Guardian x3
25 Leia Skywalker, Jedi Knight
23 General Wedge Antilles
9 General Dodonna
8 R7 Astromech Droid
12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Garm Bel Iblis) 11 Ithorian Commander
(Garm Bel Iblis) 14 Wookiee Soldier x2
(Garm Bel Iblis) 4 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist

(200pts. 16 activations)

so I know this has no ranged support, but it can absorb a TON of damage, thinking about getting 2x mouse instead of 2x ugo. for a 2/2 split, but I am unsure at this point.

way too much Tech. I would drop leia/uggie for another Guardian. Your damage out vs disruptive is just not good with all that tech. You have 120 points in tech. You have 3 attackers that are melee and unless you are trying to time out which SWM was not designed for.

I would consider dropping Garm for some Antarian Rangers and filler. They go well with Leia Skywalker (+4 Attack/Defense) and Gen. Wedge (Evade and Mobile Attack).

That's my take. . . . And I'm out.

Garm gets him the Ithorian Commander.

I too would drop Leia for either a shooter support if you want some, but I'd probably just go with another Gaurdian.

I like to have Garm bring in an Ithorian and a Bothan Noble to up the Guardian's damage output. But yeah way too much tech.

My wife has played a similar squad except she drops 1 ossus and never used the R7 because it is an older build and adds Dash and Jag (her favorite 38 pts).

It is a pretty tough squad to deal with as it super tough to actually damage the vong.

I like the basic build, but theres too much tech needed here.

A simpler build that still gets you want you want...by the way I love the reinforcemnts from garm, great picks there. The wookie soldiers have some nice staying power for a 7point fig from Rebel Storm.

Keep the basic build, however, drop Leia and Wedge, bring In Jaina and Han Storm Trooper. You might have to loss an Uggie for that, but I think that'd be okay. I have not lost a match with this style of build. I only had two Guardians and Jareal, but that may be splitting hairs. Survivability is hard while traversing the board, Han eliminates that. And as a melee build it helps to have Han as a support shooter, albeit a pour one, but his CE will have Jaina and the wookies and the Guardians in peoples faces real fast.

While the Noble is a nice option the Ithorian is so good with cheap melee fodder that the wookies are much better than the Bothan. Plus it maximies the points, the bothan doesn't.
