--Repulse!--
55 Master Kota
45 Luke's Snowspeeder
23 Jarael
20 K-3PO
15 Whiphid Tracker
14 General Rieekan
9 General Dodonna
4 Gran Raider
9 Mouse Droid x3
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(200pts. 13 activations)

This is a particularly fun squad to run.

Master Kota with a natural 23 defense and evade is a great combo. Jarael (attack: 13/defence: 22) and the Whipid Tracker (attack: 14 w/cunning and Defense: 19) both gain semi-decent attacks and defenses through Kota. K-3PO is used for the mere purpose of putting Kota in position to do lots of damage, and Jarael is used as the main swap piece, but both the Gran Raider and Whipid Tracker work great as swap pieces due to their stealth which can keep my opponent guessing where I might swap to.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Just remember that you'll usually lose a Mouse Droid in order to do Repulse. :P

Overall, looks pretty decent though. I would probably consider using something different than Luke's Snowspeeder though. It's really not doing a whole lot in this squad beyond being a decent shooter to harass your opponent. For those same 45 points, there's a few other pieces you could consider instead. Han Smuggler and a Bothan Noble (can give extra attack to Jarael if needed), or Han and Princess Leia are the first that come to mind. Much more damage output. And if you aren't using K-3PO to put Kota up close, you can use run Han out to shoot, give him the extra shot with Leia/Bothan, then use Swap to get him back to safety somewhere.

I like the thoughts you added. Luke's SS is nice to have with the high speed it has and the other combinations of SA's, but I do like the option of using Han, Smuggler and Princess Leia to have more damage output and get more use out of K-3PO. So as a varient, I like this updated squad a little more. On the flip side, I think the other squad has some useful resources, so I still would consider the Snowspeeder variation at times.

You could utilize those 2 extra points in the squad by swapping 1 Mouse Droid for a Caamasi Noble. Or you could swap Leia for a Bothan Noble and a Caamasi. The CN is great for swapping, especially if a 27 Defense Kota is also in sight somewhere.
