I keep toying back and forth with whether the Warmaster is worth it or not. Part of me still says that the Jedi Hunters are better overall, since you get WAY more attacks out of them, and you can get 3 of them for the same cost as the Warmaster. But there's no denying the staying power of Lah either, and that means you get fairly consistent use out of the Priest's Scarification SA. That is until your opponent just runs past Lah and goes to kill the Priest instead That's the only thing that worries me about the Priest. That 40 HP REALLY needs a BG, or in this case, Nom's Ooglith, to have any hope of surviving at all.

My concern with the squad is that I think it may be trying to do more then it can. Lah has good staying power and a nice attack score for when he does attack, he is a great fodder killer as well with cleave.

I fear protecting the preist may not be worht the points, and JH's may be the better way, or drop them, just go Lah with JH's and ignore the gimmicks and stick with the twin momentum.

You might want to add some more activations, because 10just isn't going to cut it in a 200 pt game.

That's the problem with the vong as I see it.

I like the build but almost trying to do too much with too little.

Dropping Nom for Lobot, CLO is a thought (only to get override and some more activations potentially) I'd drop the SHaper too and stick with the PVP myself. You're not going to Crit enough and the PVP with all the VCA is going to be huge.

On most maps because it's a range 6 CE you can run mice to boom it and keep it hidden

Problem there is the PVP has a SA not a CE. So that puts the crapper in the can. And I agree the activations are low. But for Vong to do any real dmaage and to protect there damage helpers Nom or a couple of Bodyguards are almsot vital.

me i would not use the pvp at all its just to easy to kill for what it does the shaper is a much better mini and nom can be dropped for lobot clo and a jedi hunter its not a bad idea of a squad it just needs some tweaks

the vong faction need just a few tweaks. I agree that the PVP and the Shaper are both bullseyes, too much cost for too little survivability, but a great ability

I'd love to see a Vong-specific SA which basically gives Booming Voice (or Relay Orders) to Vong SAs. That would solve the problem entirely, and suddenly Vong would be much more popular and easy to build/play.

Coordinated Invasion: Vong Special Abilities with a Range of 6 have unlimited range.

Something like that.

Oh yes it would be....ewww....but with the pics from GAW no love this time around, (Big shock) but hey it could be worse, we have gotten some new pieces that have potential, just not enough hp to make it worth it.
