What better trainer to bring back Malak and his Crusader pal, than none other than Vodo Baas. Surrounded by cute little youngling's who wouldn't return to the light! :D Except for Vader. This squad is made to test out the effectiveness of the new capabilites JA brings in.

--Vodo Baa's and Malak--
49 Darth Malak, Dark Lord of the Sith
44 Vodo-Siosk Baas
23 Jedi Crusader
19 Old Republic Captain
50 Youngling x10
9 Mouse Droid x3
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
(200pts. 19 activations)

At first glance, this squad is melee oriented. This means this squad will require very strategic movement. What most people don't realize is the exteme usefulness Vodo brings to this squad. First things first, he is at 25 defense and this makes him difficult even for shooters to hit. At +19 attack and having double attack, he won't be dishing out a ton of damage, but enough to make the opponent annoyed. The idea is to position Vodo in gambit and also in a position to help Malak and the Crusader with Force Alter. Malak has 24 defense against force users, and with Vodo altering peoples attacks, his survival will increase, which means more benefit to you as he, grants +4 attack to everyone and can shoot lightning. The Crusader can push and double attack people and can survive with his 21 defense. He mainly is there to protect Malak and take out nearby threats. The opponent will have a lot to worry about if they decide to take out Vodo Baas, since his Force Spirit will go to Malak, causeing him to gain to free Lightnings and MTF 2. Malak now can shoot out 60 auto damage. Vodo, isn't easy at all to take out with his parry, good defense and alter, but thats what makes him also good for the squad since he can use alter for others and can sit in gambit, diverting the opponents attention and annoying the opponent. Vodo has a good combination of abilities and is very underestimated. To make things worse, there is a swarm of younglings to back up the big guys, and their deflect can come in handy for running up to shooters. At +10 attack and 18 defense, they will not be super easy to take out and they can dish out a modest 20 damage.

Will the redeemed jedi bring hope to the OR and teach the younglings how to become jedi's? Maybe. At least his squad will be fun to play. This squad needs some work, but so far this is the best I've come up with so far. Any other suggestions would be welcome.

Malak cannot shoot 60 auto damage after he's received Force Spirit. Lightning still Replaces Attacks, so he can only do it once per turn.

My mistake. At least he will be able to stun and shoot, or run and shoot his lightning. This still is pretty good.
