I love the new Commandos, and I've always wanted to use K-3P0, so I built this.
Commandos get Cunning, and the Tauntaun uses Recon to help them pull off some Cunning attacks. Luke hangs back and builds up FP's, then a Vet runs up and Luke swaps in for som UTF/Flurry fun. Dodonna helps save acts near the end, so I can run the Tauntaun out without him being shot to bits. THoughts? Comments?

I think if you're going to run Crix and all those Commandos, you may as well save some points and go with Luke Rebel Commando as well. Luke COTF can do 40 with UTF, and then another 20 with Parry. Luke RC can do 40 just with Cunning +20, without having to save up a bunch of extra FPs first. Granted, it's not auto-damage like Use The Force is, but Luke RC is 22 points cheaper too. If you're using Luke COTF because you don't have Luke RC yet, then I think this is probably decent. I always like to squeeze Princess Leia into Luke COTF builds for the extra UTF hurt, so she might be an option here. She could also be used to give one of your ERCs a REALLY nasty attack.

Yeah, RC prolly would be better, but yeah, I don't have him, yet. Leia is also a good idea, but I have no clue how to fit her in without losing too much. I'm sure there is a way to do it, but it all seems to mesh so well like this.

Yeah, I would agree. If you are going the Commando route, you might as well go with Luke RC. He synergizes so well with Madine. Of course this is not saying Luke COTF is bad. Simply he isn't quite right for this build. I actually love Luke COTF. I think he benefits greatly from the MD for swapping.

But yeah, in this squad, Luke RC makes more sense.

Bumpity. How should I fill it out when I get Luke RC?
