--SWFs ISO Trouble--
53 Lumiya, the Dark Lady
49 Darth Malak, Dark Lord of the Sith
23 Jarael
18 Twi'lek Black Sun Vigo
15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer
13 Gotal Mercenary
11 Darth Sidious Hologram
6 Ewok Scout
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
6 Mouse Droid x2
(200pts. 12 activations)

I may substitute the Gotal for a Kel-Dor just to make a larger deterent to drive bys. But, I figure two multi-attacking pieces boosted from the TBSV would be fun to run.

Hah, I actually have a very similar squad on Bloomilk that I created a couple weeks ago. http://www.bloomilk.com/Squads/ViewSqua ... adID=29779

I like the general idea, for sure. TBSV gives a huge boost to Lumiya, which is really sweet, as she's been one of my favorites for a while.

The funny thing is that I was toying with the idea fresh and ended up creating the same (except for the Jawa Scavy vs Kel-Dor) squad. This was an older squad that I updated (BM doesn't show edit dates, yet) once the mouse droid and the TBSV was revealed. Originally, it was Kreia, Blue, and Jarael but the TBSV changed things.

Lumiya is very underrated.

Very interesting that you have both posted similar squads. I've had a very similar squad for a few months now that I had avoided posting because I wasn't completely satisfied with it and was still tinkering. IE did a lot for it though and I'm happy both of you had similar ideas. The pre-IE squad was as follows:

53 Lumiya, the Dark Lady
49 Darth Malak, Dark Lord of the Sith
25 Juhani
23 Jarael
18 Lando, Dashing Scoundrel
11 Darth Sidious Hologram
8 Wicket
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3
4 Gran Raider

I really really liked this squad. It was light on the ranged threats, but with the stealth/cloaked/evade, this squad could cross many maps untouched (I played it on the train station) and once it closed on you, could pose a serious problem to most squads with the sheer damage output. When IE debuted, Dash was the obvious swap in for Juhani (too bad, I really like her) and the Twi'lek's synergy with Lumiya and Jarael was an obvious swap in for Lando. Below is the squad I've been playing with as of late, VERY similar to Lobo's though with Wicket thrown in:

53 Lumiya, the Dark Lady
49 Darth Malak, Dark Lord of the Sith
28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler
23 Jarael
18 Twi'lek Black Sun Vigo
11 Darth Sidious Hologram
8 Wicket
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
3 Mouse Droid

Where I am torn now is in two areas: whether I am able to and/or should fit in Lobot for some override, such as Markedman has, and whether I should free up some more activations for the opportunist shooters. In a squad with 10 activations and no single activation control, I'm very weary of the dependance on both Dash and the Twi'lek to get that opportunitist bonus. I also like the fact that if you do hit the reserves with Lobot, I can bring back in Lando, DS (devastating at a +16 with fprrs and the base 20 damage) as well as some more activations to help out with the opportunist and positioning. Heck, you could even bring in the czerka for the Twi'lek for the 30 damage twin.

What do you guys think? What could I possibly drop to get Lobot in there, and should I even try? Dropping from Lumiya to Kreia is an option, but one I'm not completely sold on yet. Let me know. Oh and thanks again for posting these. Glad to see the similar thought process some times.

Here's a fun version I made up.

--The Greater Mobile Sith Lords--
76 Darth Krayt
53 Lumiya, the Dark Lady
23 Jarael
18 Twi'lek Black Sun Vigo
18 Lando Calrissian, Dashing Scoundrel
3 Mouse Droid
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3
(200pts. 9 activations)

I like Lumiya but if you are bringing in Krayt, wouldn't Mistryls be a viable option? Two Mistryls getting +12 (which is equivalent to Lumiya's Atk) and the potential of activating a unit be a viable option over Lumiya? Granted, this drops the deterant of strafers/riders and the big 40 SD.

I actually played a squad quite similar to this just a week or two ago. Now, granted, my squad had Kreia instead of Juhani/Lando, and then more activations instead of Wicket. So the thing that sucked about it was that it had little-to-no ranged threat, beyond Force Push or Lightning. But it was a ton of fun. Obviously not top-tier competitive, as it would get royally screwed on certain maps, but I think the TBSV, and some other piece, in place of Kreia is an obvious push towards the competitive zone.

I would tend to agree that 10 activations is pretty light when you're hoping for Opportunist attacks out of Dash. But remember, Jarael will hopefully be getting Triple/Stun. Malak has Stun as well, and the TBSV has Jolt as a worst case scenario (and incidentally he's a +13 even without Opportunist, so good chances for hitting that attack). So, while 10 activations seems a bit low, I'm not sure I'd be TOO worried about it.

How is he a +13 without Opportunist? As a commander, he is not subject to Malak's CE.

Doh! Right. That's what I get for typing without thinking first. :P
